HR picks for July 11

Mookie Betts (+700 at DraftKings)

I know, Mookie Betts’ odds are very long at +700. But that’s because, to his standards, it’s been a very disappointing year for the former MVP.

Betts is hitting just .246 with 11 home runs in 2025. That’s far below the power output we’re used to seeing from one of the best players in the sport.

However, tonight’s matchup plays in his favor.

The Dodgers begin an important NL West series with the San Francisco Giants, who send the dominant Logan Webb to the mound. Betts has enjoyed himself against Webb in the past, going 15-for-38 lifetime with a pair of long balls.

Six of his homers this season are off right-handed hurlers, and Betts already has two bombs in July. No. 12 could be on its way tonight at Oracle Park.

Ketel Marte (+215 at DraftKings)

The Arizona Diamondbacks may be having a disappointing campaign, but Ketel Marte is certainly doing his part offensively.

The 31-year-old is hitting .292 with 19 home runs and 40 RBI. He’s definitely been one of Arizona’s most consistent batters, and he’s hitting for impressive power.

Marte will face Los Angeles Angels left-hander Tyler Anderson this evening, who is a familiar arm. Marte has terrorized Anderson, going 13-for-30 with a pair of home runs.

Anderson has also allowed 16 bombs in just 18 starts in 2025. Marte is a switch-hitter, which is even more of a nightmare for Anderson.
The veteran has already left the yard twice this month. He could stay hot and reach No. 20 in this matchup.

Kyle Stowers (+320 at DraftKings)

Kyle Stowers flies under the radar because he plays for a Miami Marlins franchise that gets little attention. But, he’s a solid hitter and he has some pop.

Stowers has gone deep 16 times this season. This is a career year for the youngster after just three homers in 69 contests last season.

Stowers is hitting .276 in July with three home runs. He’ll face Baltimore Orioles starter Dean Kremer tonight, who is prone to the long ball, as he’s given up 14 in 18 appearances this season.

All 16 of Stowers’ long balls have come against right-handed pitchers. Also, Kremer has struggled against left-handed hitters. Nine of the homers he has surrendered have been versus lefties like Stowers.

While he’s never faced Kremer, there’s a real chance Stowers does some damage from a power standpoint.
