I’m not sure how deep Mitch Bratt goes in his second career MLB start, but the matchup is difficult while he's out there. The Dodgers are the best offense in baseball, and Bratt’s early command issue is the wrong flaw against this lineup.
He's walked more than 15% of hitters in a small debut sample, while Los Angeles owns a well above-average walk rate. It's a simple thought, but free runners against this offense usually turn expensive quickly.
COVERS INTEL: Emmett Sheehan’s four-seamer, which has produced a .552 xSLG on 43.2% usage, gives Arizona a clear pitch to hunt and increases the two-way offense expectation.
