Aaron Judge is one of the most productive hitters the league has ever seen, but he’s in a bit of a rut, with just one hit over his last five games.

My Angels vs. Yankees predictions expect New York’s captain to get back to his usual self and power the home side to a win on Thursday afternoon. Let’s take a closer look with my MLB picks for June 19.

Angels vs Yankees prediction

My Angels vs Yankees best bet: Aaron Judge Over 2.5 hits + runs + RBI (-110 at bet365)

Aaron Judge is a hits + runs + RBI machine. He's averaged 3.1 per game and cleared this line at a 52% clip. He's fared even better in day games, getting the job done in 17 of 28 contests (61% success rate) while averaging 3.7 hits + runs + RBI along the way. Incredible numbers.

Judge enters this game riding a five-game drought, having recorded just one hit while failing to drive anybody home or score a single run. That's extremely abnormal for Judge, who previously never played more than three straight games without soaring past this line.

He's too good to stay this quiet much longer. He has a great matchup to help bring that regression to the forefront as well. Los Angeles Angels starter Tyler Anderson has not fared well on the road. His splits are especially noticeable against right-handed batters like Judge

Anderson owns a 3.62 SIERA and has held righties to a .267 average and .174 ISO at home over the last two months. It’s been a much different story on the road, where Anderson has posted a 5.03 SIERA while allowing a .301 average and .233 ISO. Not good.

Judge also profiles extremely well against Anderson’s pitch mix, owning a .471 wOBA and 20% barrel rate over the last couple of months. Look for Judge to jumpstart this struggling New York Yankees offense on Thursday afternoon.

Angels vs Yankees same-game parlay (SGP)

Aaron Judge Over 2.5 hits + runs + RBI

Paul Goldschmidt Over 0.5 hits

Yankees moneyline

Paul Goldschmidt is a monster against left-handed pitching. A monster! He is hitting .420 against lefties on the season and has picked up at least one knock in 82% of his games against left-handed starters.

He's faced off against 17 lefty starters this year. He’s averaged 1.4 hits in those games and recorded twice as many multi-hit performances (six) as zero-hit efforts (three). Although he hasn’t seen much of Anderson in recent years, he has enjoyed success over a limited sample. He's 2-for-6 and posted an exit velocity of 93 miles per hour or higher in four of the six at-bats.

Rounding out the parlay is a bet on the Yankees to avoid a four-game sweep. They have not played well of late, but it’s important to remember they lead the AL East and rank third in runs per game through more than 70 contests. They’ve largely played well over a healthy sample of games.

They have a big pitching advantage with Carlos Rodon, who's sporting a 3.01 ERA and averaging well over a strikeout per inning, on the mound.

He shouldn’t need much run support against an Angels squad that ranks 20th in runs, 27th in batting average, and dead last in on-base percentage on the year.
