PokerStars is officially joining FanDuel.
The giant hype message on the PokerStars landing page reads, "Welcome to the biggest game in town. PokerStars exclusively on FanDuel."
This means that in Pennsylvania, Michigan, New Jersey, and Ontario, where real-money online casinos are legal, poker fans can soon enjoy an all-new poker client and app.

More about 'PokerStars exclusively on FanDuel' transition
"PokerStars is joining forces with FanDuel to bring together two of the biggest names in gaming under one powerful platform," the online cardroom said of the decision. "This move merges player liquidity for bigger prize pools, larger guarantees, and more exciting competition in the United States."
This means New Jersey online casino players will be part of a combined player pool with Michigan and Pennsylvania customers.
Once the new product is live, all customers, including those using the Ontario online casino platform, will enjoy the advantages of a single wallet with seamless access to poker, casino, and sports betting.
Bigger customer base
Whether someone is a Michigan sports betting or Pennsylvania online casino enthusiast, FanDuel is a market leader, much like it is in just about every jurisdiction it enters.
The New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement's state iGaming revenue report for January showed that FanDuel earned $58.9 million for the month, over $10 million more than DraftKings Casino in second. By comparison, PokerStars typically has a much smaller market share; for the first month of the year, the brand won just $1.06 million from Garden State gamblers.
There is also an opportunity for FanDuel customers who are not poker players to give the game a try once "PokerStars exclusively on FanDuel" launches.
Farewell, PokerStars Rewards
FanDuel and PokerStars currently offer separate reward programs, but there won't be a need for both. PokerStars Rewards will be deprecated as of March 13. PokerStars is telling current players that they will receive full cash payment for unopened chests as well as the pro-rated amounts for their progress bars.
The existing FanDuel Rewards program will replace it. Like with PokerStars, users open daily prize chests that can include free spins on popular slot titles like Huff N' More Puff and All Gronk All Gold.
