This isn’t the first partnership between the A’s and Circa. The two have had a marketing deal ever since the A’s left Oakland, in preparation for the team’s ultimate move to Las Vegas. The Athletics currently play in Sacramento while their new Las Vegas stadium is being built. According to A’s owner, John Fisher, the indoor stadium should be complete in February 2028, just in time for the 2028 season.
It’s safe to say that the success of their first marketing deal convinced both sides they were ready to forge a larger, more committed, partnership. In fact, Circa and the A’s organization have been downright chummy over the past few years.
Circa CEO Derek Stevens and Fisher sat next to each other during Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Final in June. At that time, Stevens said, “We’re working on a few things, but we’re not ready to announce it yet. Maybe sometime in the next couple months.”
A few months later, a deal has finally been announced.
“They’ve (Circa) been innovative in idea creation, and Derek’s been in every single meeting,” A’s president Marc Badain told the Las Vegas Review-Journal. “They just made it very easy to sit down and come up with a package of assets that were good for them that are going to be good for the fans on game day. They came up with a lot of creative ideas and the A’s are glad that they’re going to be first.”
Like most team partnerships, the deal involves prominent stadium signage. It will, however, also include some coveted fan-centric experiences. The deal includes a premium hospitality space connected directly to the A’s new dugout. The Circa Dugout Box will have seating for 22 fans, offering one of the most unique suite experiences in professional sports.
Circa will also be introducing “Time of Your Life” seats in the outfield that will be included in packages combining a stay at the downtown resort with game tickets. Between the Circa Dugout and the “Time of Your Life” packages, Circa will control a total 54 exclusive seats for each home game. For the best chance to score one of these special tickets, fans might consider cozying up to a Circa casino host before the start of the 2028 season.
