Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino and Caesars Entertainment, Inc. on Tuesday revealed a partnership through which Caesars will take control of the famed Westgate SuperBook.
The globally-renowned Las Vegas sportsbook will transition to Caesars’ control before the beginning of the NFL season, pending regulatory approval.
Key Takeaways
- Caesars’ betting odds will be provided via mobile app and kiosks throughout Westgate.
- Customers will enjoy new same-game parlay and parlay betting options.
- The Nevada Gaming Commission must approve the transition.
The Westgate SuperBook is known for having one of the best live-viewing experiences in the world for sports fans and gamblers alike. Its makeover with Caesars is intended to create “a next-generation sports wagering experience,” officials stated.
“The Westgate SuperBook is one of the most recognizable sportsbook destinations in the world, and we are proud to partner with Westgate on the next chapter of its evolution,” Eric Hession, president of Caesars Digital, said in the announcement.
“By powering the SuperBook with our sportsbook platform, we’re combining a legendary sportsbook environment with a modern betting menu and added convenience that reflects how sports fans want to wager today.”
Caesars’ entry will result in the transition of betting odds being provided by Caesars, while SuperBook’s identity and vibe will remain the same. Caesars will also expand wagering markets and access while controlling race and sportsbook operations and technology.
New betting possibilities will include same-game parlays, additional parlay options, and a robust live betting menu for professional and amateur sports.
Caesars also plans on adding self-serve betting kiosks for customers who don’t want to go to the counter or use a mobile betting app throughout the SuperBook and the entire casino-resort.

Guests can register accounts and use Caesars’ Universal Digital Wallet at the kiosks and on the Caesars sportsbook app.

Caesars taking control
SuperBook opened 40 years ago. It is revered as an integral component of the Las Vegas sports gambling experience because of its atmosphere and legacy in the industry.
“Since opening in 1986, our SuperBook has been a defining part of the Las Vegas sports betting landscape,” said Cami Christensen, President & General Manager of Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino. “We are incredibly proud of that legacy and thrilled to partner with Caesars Sportsbook to take it to the next level, combining decades of history with innovation, scale, and an even more dynamic guest experience.”
SuperBook is currently maintained by a self-branded online sportsbook, which Westgate’s website calls “The most extensive race & sports wagering menu in Nevada.”
Transitioning to Caesars’ control will require the approval of the Nevada Gaming Commission, which is in charge of overseeing retail and online sports betting in the state.
The intended change comes less than a year and a half after Jay Kornegay stepped down as vice president of operations at Westgate SuperBook, vacating a position he maintained for two decades.
Details and contests
The Westgate SuperBook has more than 30,000 square feet and 350 seats, a 220-foot-by-18-foot 4K video wall, a fully stacked bar, free Wi-Fi, and more amenities.
The casino-resort is currently running a promotion for all Vegas Golden Knights playoff games and has lots of contests during the NFL season, NCAA Tournaments, and other marquee sporting events.
