Masters Cut Line Updates
The cut line for the 2026 Masters moved from +3 to +4 early Friday afternoon, with 53 golfers at or inside the number.
The most notable golfer in cut trouble for Friday's second round is LIV and YouTube superstar Bryson DeChambeau (+4) who will have some work to do in order to make it to the weekend. DeChambeau drilled a patron with a tee shot on the sixth hole, and later had a disastrous three-shot escape from a green-side bunker on the 11th hole during Thursday's Round 1.
Conditions are hard and fast for Round 2, which could lead to a final cut number of +5 when all is said and done. Big names like DeChambeau, Bubba Watson (+4), and Jon Rahm (+6) will all have their work cut out for them on Friday.
Sportsbooks set the pre-tournament cut number at +3.5, which should be a comfortable cash for Over bettors.

Masters cut rule
The cut rule at the Masters last year was the Top 50 golfers plus ties, and the same cut rule will apply for the 2026 Masters tournament.
In 2020, the committee changed its longstanding cut rule where only the Top 50 players in the Masters field and ties advanced to Round 3 and 4. Previously, the rule stated that the Top 50 and anyone within 10 strokes of the lead made the cut.
Making changes to the cut line has been a part of the history of the Masters. The cut was first instituted in 1957 and was the Top 40 and ties until 1961. From 1962-2012, it was expanded to the Top 44 and those within 10 strokes of the leader. In 2013, it was expanded to Top 44 and those within 10 shots.

What is Kalshi and how does it work?
Kalshi is a federally regulated U.S. exchange where you trade directly on the outcome of real-world future events. Instead of traditional bets, you trade "Event Contracts" which are simple Yes/No questions like "Will the Eagles win this Sunday?" These events are priced between $0.01 and $0.99, and the prices reflect the market’s estimated probability of that event occurring. For instance, $0.55 equals a 55% chance. If your prediction is correct, the contract pays out exactly $1.00; if not, it settles at $0. Kalshi is essentially a stock market for reality.
