i think it was against Valkeries. They lost by like 10 against them as +1.5 or something and then next game against Aces, they were big favorites and won the spread.

I was thinking the same thing when I first saw the spread. This is a tricky matchup to read because you have one team that's overachieving and another that's underachieving, so the timing is everything. Since winning the Commissioner's Cup, the New York Liberty are 1-4 SU, while the Dallas Wings are 6-0 SU over that same stretch. It'll be interesting to see how this one plays out.

Another play that stands out is 1st Half - Las Vegas Aces -6.5. If it drops to -5.5, I think it's worth a shot. Las Vegas tends to do its best work in the first half, then ease off the gas a bit after halftime.

Liberty up to -4.5 currently. Bueckers officially out for Dallas.

Yes, Bueckers is out for Dallas. Toronto is missing three starters and their head coach got suspended for one game (tonight). This could be a mail-in game for Toronto heading into the all-star break.

Great info! There’s just too much going on to get a solid read on the Aces/Tempo game. With everything you mentioned, especially the possibility that Toronto could be mailing it in, it almost feels obvious—which is exactly what gives me pause.

How the hell is Liberty a DD favorite against Chicago tomorrow? They struggled all year and should of lost last night against Dallas who sat out their star player.

 Don't seem like the correct line. Dallas is on the rise - They let that game slip away last night. Ive got Liberty on a fade until the cover a spread.

Based on recent form, Liberty probably shouldn’t be laying 9.5 points against anyone right now. That said, the oddsmakers are clearly still respecting New York because of their overall team strength, home-court advantage, Chicago’s season-long performance, and the need to protect against teaser exposure. The best way I see to play this game is 1st Half - Chicago Sky. Last night was another example that the Liberty are a strong fourth-quarter team, so taking the points early makes more sense to me than relying on a full-game cover.
