No spin or bias here, the numbers dont lie... These hypocrites push their liberal agenda in government but conduct themselves completely opposite....
Biden

Gore
In 1997, then-Vice President Gore's tax return showed $353 in charitable donations.

DL, having lived amongst the uber wealthy I can tell you that the conservatives I know spend far more on charity than the liberals. This non-scientific analysis is just that, non-scientific.

you have a history of clear and straight forward dialog, you are not a rhetoric spin master...
you have been here to know half or dozen polarized wackjobs that hang out here... Funny thing is that there are both the left and right winged versions of this phenomena

liberals act in their rhetoric that they are generous and about social justice and are very giving... At least that is what they portray in their politics...

had a lengthier post but hit reset...
guess what will happen to charitable donations if the govt becomes a nanny state, they go bye bye https://www.jonholato.com/2007/06/26/us-more-charitable-than-any-other-country/
Americans gave nearly $300 billion to charity in 2006
he percentage of GDP given to charity. In this case, the U.S. more than
doubles the second place country, Britain. The U.S. ranked first at
1.7%, Britain was second with 0.73%, while France, with a dismal 0.14%
rate, trailed countries such as South Africa, Singapore, Turkey and
Germany.

nope, about 3/1 C to L. the most obnoxious group of all are utterly heartless, narcissistic limbaugh listeners that think that their existence is far more importart than their hispanic gardener or maid. that group is very similar to randolph and mortimer duke giving the 5 $ christmas bonus to their black servant as if it is a grand gesture. our office has that as a running joke...,"thank you mr mortimer"

President’s Obama’s newly proposed federal budget includes a provision limiting the rate at which high-income taxpayers may claim itemized charitable deductions (to a maximum of 28% regardless of their marginal tax rate).
According to the national Council on Foundations, the proposal would apply to married taxpayers filing a joint return with income higher than $250,000, and to single taxpayers with income higher than $200,000.
The provision would increase tax revenues by $321.9 billion over 10 years; but, if the provision is passed, it may also deliver a significant financial blow to charities and nonprofit organizations because it diminishes the tax incentive for high net worth donors to give....
Some will say -if wealthy people want to give money, then they should give regardless of tax benefit- and that the wealthy should not use charities as a tax dodge...
Well, due to the rescission individual giving has experienced its sharpest decline since it began in 1956 to track and record rates of charitable giving..and that's with the new charitable tax deduction..charitable endowments in particular and contributions overall have been pummeled by the recession.
So, limiting the tax rate contributions on high-income taxpayers may stop some from giving ...but it's very clear ,that limousime liberals like Algore wont even contribute even if they are given a tax deduction for doing so ......

Now the Obama administration want's to heavily tax charitable contributions...to discourage contributions to non- profit organizations ..so that people in need will have to look toward Big Nanny for aid...and help...
Then the government will raise the taxes on the few remaining tax payers in this counrty to pay for the new government agency's they will have to set-up to provide the needs for these people .... who were already recieving aid supplied from private contributions .......the Obama administration ..creating jobs for Americans.
