Ever since all this talk of "raising prices" and what not, Veripicks has lost 7 out of the last 8 days.

Karma?

Need to stop talking about raising prices and start winning!

It would be interesting to see results (winning % and +/- $) according to the day of the week. just a thought... as i tend to think out loud often .

 

the last week has been a bit strange... lots of red days. that is not like you guys... i wonder if there is something wrong... but technically it is still a profit with that HUGE day.

It is not technically a profit; Veripicks is down the last 8 days. 

You are even farther down as you missed the big day of winning.

havent been tailing VP's plays lately... only been observing and selecting a few at a time. statistically... after a big day like that... percentages have to go down to level out.

and raise prices ????  hummm  interesting ... i dont know if veripicks knows  but there are alot of systems and kenpow and what not that are picking winners left and right ... veripics might be over priced..100 a month for the product you have ... which i see as a glorified line move alert service...but thats just me ..

im not sure how you guys can argue with success. i dont get it

the losing nights are not horrendous and the winning nights are big.
everything is documented. and they are finishing every month in the GREEEEENNNN

with 8 losing days out of the last 7, the month isnt even being threatened as a losing month.

Looks like another losing day unless the last 2 games cover (1 currently cover, the other is not).

I'm going to give Veripicks a word of advice for karma and maybe this will turn around sooner than later. Post this message in the thread:

"I am not going to threaten to raise prices. Let's focus on winning."

Wow, what's up fellas? Sorry fellas Veripicks has been STINKING for a little over a week - but sometimes we got to take the good with the bad. Just give it some time it will find it's way back to where we need it.  What you do have to remember is that you are losing minimal amounts of money on these losing days and winning huge on the big ones. We are still profitable on the month and for the last 2 weeks still up almost $1k.

Don't think I'm making excuses for it because it seems to be incredibly bad here lately - I'm just explaining that it's bound to go through this sometimes. Let's just hope it rebounds huge over the next week or so.

Sorry I haven't kept up with Covers forums - I'll try to check in at least daily to see what's going on. Holiday weekends I'm usually vacationing rather than sitting on a computer!

I'm not exactly sure what you mean. Are you saying that Veripicks only watches line movements and that's how it decides what to play?? There ARE plenty of systems that do that, I agree, but none of these systems have shown the profitability of Veripicks. Line movement is a big piece of data in it's scoring process (I'm sure you probably saw the pages where we show line movement and came to the assumption this is all we do) but overall that data is just a small piece of the puzzle.

Our product is price just right as it keeps our client base small enough for us to handle customer service and it pays our operating expenses for the servers and network. Kenpow is a great resource for data and I would highly recommend it for anyone who is handicapping the games themselves.

We use Veripicks for ourselves and try not to come across as a "tout" service. I want anyone who is a user of Veripicks to come into this forums and post the good and the bad and be fully open about if they are winning or losing. I've said this before that I truly believe that we CAN beat the sportsbooks. Trying to prove that and having others win with us is the only reason we offer memberships.

I'm not sure if it's karma or just a bad run. This is the first time we've had a prolonged losing streak.

I'll make this deal with the covers community. If we post a winning percentage from now through the end of February Veripicks will be free for everyone March 1st through the first round of March Madness for anyone who has registered with us. So instead of raising our prices when it wins we will give away more access. Anyone who wants in will need to send us ( veripicks@gmail.com ) their username and I'll update their membership at that time.

How about that for changing our Karma - let's get it done!

its just the way sports betting goes sometimes. you can have a game perfectly capped but miss out on 1 bad roll of the ball.

lets look at last nights CLOSE losses

Nova just gave up.

Western michigan (-1) Lose by 2 points
 -- They led most of the game

Valpo (-1.5) Lose by 1 point
--Lost by 1 point in OT

Ok state(-17)
-- yah they were just out classed but  not a bad play with all that chalk

MD east shore (-15) missed covering by 2 points
They were the better team in the first half  (-4)
2nd half they missed like 15 free throws
With 45 seconds left down by 13 they foul putting it at a push, miss a layup, fould now its at 17 (not covering) took a wide open 3 point and missed and let the clock run out.



With the exception of okstate and nova, we were in evry one of these games.

its been this way for the past week. Weve lost ALOT of games by 1-2 points. Thats the way NCAAB rolls. sometimes you get the freethrows and sometimes you dont.

VP is a great service take it for what its worth. Its cheap and texts you their picks, no need to scour the forums for hours.

I'm not sure you guys notice on the Totals for tonight. There are 4-5 games that are 71% (72-29). Normally the system would remove these games because they're missing information BUT they seem to be winning pretty consistently even without the information. We are going to leave them tonight and see how they go. I wouldn't unload on these games (now that I say that they will go 100%) but play them normal if you want and we'll see how they go.

Looks like a few hockey games too - sorta surprises me - but you never know. Sometimes you might catch us on a big ML play or totals. Will be interesting to see how these go.

Let's go for a big night tonight and get back on track. I'm tired of going 50/50 and need a big night of profit. Remember this is a system, money management - money management - money management and cash out at the end of the month. Do not bet outside your bankroll.
