I am surprised that after a month, he can't round up 64 contestants for a big contest to win a hotel room (no airfare included) in Vegas.

So it will cost the winner about $500 or more for the round trip just to get to use that room for two nights. HELL OF A DEAL!!!!!!!

How many times has his website been mentioned in it's entirety in your posts.....

The only thing that seems to be going on over there is gambling from what I can ascertain from all the posts about the site....you call it a forum, but that would mean that people were actually talking over there, but it seems the entire sites premise is driven around tipping and contests, which are 100% of monetary value.....would seem to me it's more promotional jibb surrounded by $$$ then a forum to talk about sports.....

What you call ignorance I call perception and awareness...you claim I don't understand the basics or the premise of Lu's site, but lest I remind you that you were not present when this site was first broached here on Covers before it was even "live"...so maybe you should first realize who you are speaking to before spewing some irrational comments...your responses are cookie cutter comments about the same blah blah already spewed by others before you supporting his site....

I don't need to PM Lu or anyone at that matter...Everyone is entitled to form their own opinion and to do anything they want, but I found it strange that someone would tout a site they were opening up on the very same message board they posted at for years....And to top it off opening up a site that would be directly competitve to covers...Now here is where you, Lu and the others shilling for his site say that I don't understand and that he is not trying to compete with Covers or any other site and that his concept is different....Yeah, good luck with that...His site is exactly the same...so what, he offers tipping...who cares...his site is a message board and so is Covers....

The one thing you guys don't seem to get that are promoting his site here is that you are alienating yourselves to this site as well....Also, none of this would even be talked about if Lu and others on his bandwagon would promote his site away from Covers....It's quite clear that the reason Lu and others are promoting here is because people here no you as posters and you think that is good enough so they will join up....So you may say you are not in competition with Covers, but for every member that is taken from here and posts on his board is taking away from Covers so save it with that response that Lu and others have tried to retort with.... 

How bout taking your show on the road and use other means besides Covers to promote the exact same concept of a site....2ton, when I asked you who uses a competitors site to promote their business on you answered with everyone or lots do....That is a more ridiculous statement then anything that has been posted about Lu's site...So Lu has a message board (that's essentially the basic concept) and you deem it okay to post at Covers, which is also a message board, and claim that others do it....So basically what you are saying is that it wouldn't be uncommon for Coca Cola to advertise on Pepsi's webpage right? Sound asinine doesn't it. but that's what you really told me when you answered my question....

Bottom line...take your ploys at advertising to a different site and no one here will negatively comment on the site you are promoting...it's that simple....don't use this message board to get people to post on your message board...luring people with money isn't even working....move on and rid yourself of the rederick....as of right now you are ousting yourself from this site just as Lu did...
