i'm proud and happy to be discovered by mavin and even happier to discover mavin. 
hey all the losers trying to discredit mavin - how about my over 20k winnings in one month only? i give lots of credit to mavin's teachings for that. all you do is wait ion bushes for someone to lose and then you get on his case but you nowhere to be found when someone wins. what a losers.

I believe he's trying to say that Mavins record is correct but he forgot to change the money balance, it still says-248 instead of adding the lose from last night. Why he didn't just say that I don't know!

Interesting, still just asked a simple question.  And your record/profits have no bearing on what I asked Phixer, so I don't know why you felt the need to toot your own horn.

Lol you people are silly.  I read and originally found the thread because of it's popularity, and it keeps showing up near the top due to recent comments.  Maybe I will go and read from the beginning now, it's not like every time you seen a lengthy thread you go "I bet there is great insight in this, I shall read from the beginning."  But according to a few of you, maybe this one bucks the rule and it is worth reading.

No need to defend me or watch my back guys. I am all here about being straight forward and civil. My shoulders are broad enough to carry any weight. No worries. I can handle if there's anything to handle - but apparently it was only a question by spreadkiller which was followed by other two guys happily pointing out my losing record. Well, that is their right and this is a public forum. As I said - I can answer those by myself. Thanks anyways to eaglequill, djavol and phixer. And especially to oreo who had wisely calmed that things down. My picks will be posted soon. And we will turn the ship 180% hoipefully

There are good folks on this thread ChasingTeOdss and you have to understand they mean good. I am also understanding you mean good. So, if you could read the thread that would really make you to understand that this thread is about something more than tailing each other here, but about developing independent handicapping skills while acquiring the right tools to do it. We are all proud we have this thread as it is achievemnt of all thjose guys above as mine. So, you're welcome here and remember we're not about personal records and bragging rights here but to help each other with the right info and correct each other in respectful ways when due. Same as you'd do with your friends in a Vegas hall before engaging the local scenery

The full thread is full of lots of good stuff, but the most important reading is all during the first few pages (in my opinion). Cheers man. Hope to see some of your takes in the future

I'm actually rolling with a couple of NBA plays today though. I really like the Knicks and Grizzlies to cover today. Just have a general good feeling and feel they match up good...

I'm 4-1 last 3 days and I'm feeling very good about today's pick as well:
WAS +4 
as for the last days for me - the same indicators: RLM and strange line - big team (NYK) only -4,5 against one of the worst teams in the league. From the other hand WAS is playing very well latelly and that also pushes me to take this pick.

I'm also looking on POR and MIN games and maybe some totals...

Am actually thinking Knicks and Hawks- they each played recently and went over 200 pts in the game- yesterday the hawks had a pretty strong showing against the pacers who I think are very good defensively- I am going to do a 7 team teaser again and those are my first two picks- The Hawks are very hit or miss can't forget the 5-10 pt quarter they had this year.

As for recent trends I see the Bucks always buck'n under pressure in the second half- I.E the against the Cavs and Nuggets just last night- Same goes for NETS JAZZ AND MAVS.

What I have also noticed is the barrage of scoring in the NBA this year- I think almost all 1Q recently have been over- same for most halves.

Just to keep an eye on things I am picking in a parlay all the overs for the 1st half for $1 this dollar goes a long way not just if I win but to keep me motivated to track the scores and research the data- mind games-

Yesterday I pointed out that every day we get a big upset on the ML and picked out that either SUNS or BUCKS would cause an upset- SUNS ML was in the +345 range and bucks +245 I put $10 each last night just to test- ended up winning and losing the other but the BUCKS had the game until the final minutes- So maybe there is something there-

I also did this a few weeks back testing with Was against MIA and lost then did it with Was against OKC and it paid off nicely- Picking a couple of heavy dogs today on a $5 parlay to again track the movement- HOU GS PHX $5 for $417
