Saturday Nov 3, Outbackman was able to play 2 hockey games, there were 4 different sports on the board, the NBA ended at 9:05 and there were 3 hockey games left on the board, after 9:05. it is my understanding that if there are 4 sports on the board you must play 1 in each sport, regardless of ending times.
Please clairfy this rule if I am in error.

WARNING. If this was the last day, and he tried that,even if he was 2 ahead, someone could pick the earlier games and Win by crossing the finish line first with 3 wins....It's all about timing-thus the RACE.

The games available for the Ultimate Race are subject to change. you can only select game that are available so if you decide to wait and to your picks later in the day you might not be able to select all sports for that day.

Without saying precisely, there is a warning here that if you wait to put your 2nd picks in for NFL and NBA games, THE JUICE MAY BE TOO HIGH TO HAVE THEM AVAILABLE TO PICK (over 150 =not available).
Therefore, wait at your own risk- If you think they won't change much as it nears game time then try it. Odds/juice are run thru Vegas....So good luck to you.

So on tuesday the 6th you could have 4 NBA picks if you wanted to.....pick an early game and then wait until after 7:30 when the other sports are off the board and you can then have the 8 oclock and later games to choose from.......so the crap about having to handicap a variety of sports is not always true...but of course the true american sport as we all know is loop holes..............

I have tried it the last couple of days and yes, you can play it that way, you just have to make sure of the times and hope your later plays are still on the board, but I have not run into trouble with it yet.||peace.gif' border=0>

I have played both races and the officals say this points out who the best all round capper is, but that is bullshit. I like the contest and know its free but I believe to get the best capper you should be made to pick on from each sport on the board and not wait unitl one is off the board to pick another

I don't see anything wrong with outbackman finding a loophole. In order to win you have to gain any advantage you can. I have to pick all my games early or I would do the same thing. I'm hanging around right now by a thread, but the two sports I know nothing about, I've done the best in....NHL and CFL. Sometimes not knowing a sport particularly well is an advantage. I wish everyone good luck and there is a long way to go. I'm in 19th now but could end up 1,019. Stay hot as long as you can.
