Postponement rule is stupid

How is it fair? The team I picked didn't lose or tie, but it might as well count as a loss. I don't see what the harm is in picking a late game instead when the game you picked has been officially cancelled. Thoughts?

i agree. if you get a void if there is still a game pending then that should be available. i guess we need to watch the weather as well!!!! the rule is stupid though. mike

the greatest was when i picked cinci at UCONN for college basketball(picked for survivor) and the game got postponed, an indoor game got postponed cuz Cinci decided to leave a little later and well mother nature had other plans lol

littlevoice, just because a rule is the same for everyone doesn't mean it can't be stupid. Shouldn't you be allowed to go over the speed limit to get a pregnant woman to the hospital ASAP? Speed limit is a stupid rule in that case. Sports related, if a ball is fumbled out of the endzone, it's a touchback no matter how it got there. Stupid rule. See my point?

How about the rule for over unders at the sports books....and i think on here.....the score could be 15 to 10 in the 7th inning but because the game didn't go 8.5 innings because of weather it is an official game but a no play on the over under....but there are reasons for that.......As far as this goes it would be really unfair to make your four plays on here and then have something happen to a play and only the people who sit by their computer all day have an advantage to make another fifth pick.........4 picks a day that's it....good or bad, the same for everyone...... You might want to google weather.com mlb and it will take you to a site that has the weather and also a pretty cool feature when you click on the details of any game and gives you the diagram of the ballpark and shows which way the wind is blowing and the chance for rain etc.....I was going to bet the mets game today but looked at that and thought about your dilemma and thought otherwise.....baseball is another whole betting world......GL

I totally agree with yoou littlevoice....Part of betting baseball during the Ultimate Race is to ensure your pick is played... Four or five times thus far, I have liked certain games but did not bet them becuse of the weather factor. lol

I think if a game is void' they should go back and count it when it is played. Like I picked ATL. in baseball, it got PPD until the next day. Why can't they go back and count it then. Which it don't matter to me I can't win shit anyway

stop your crying you know the rules "weather" or not you agree with them, they are the same for everyone. Look into the weather report before you pick. Not only in baseball but I hope you check out the weather in football as it does make a difference. Stop your complaing and play by the rules in place or do not play at all. what the f***, not only do I lose a pick for yesterday, I can only make 3 today? I picked TEX in MLB on 4/9 and it was PPD, and now it is only letting me pick 3 today, does the TEX pick automatically carry over from yesterday to today? If anyone knows please reply.||confused.gif' border=0>

Agree. Playing a free contest and complaining about the rules is quite stupid. The rules apply to everyone playing. It's called a CONTEST. Some of you people are missing my point. I'm not saying I hate the race in general or that I'm going to protest and get a petition to give me an extra game. It's just an opinion. I'm not crying like a baby. I know I suck and one game won't matter to me and yes I know that the rule applies to everyone, but I don't have to LIKE the rule, even though I have to follow it.
