WHAT MANIPULATION!!!???We all had the same opportunity to pick the 'gimmees'; and I for one picked them on the WRONG days!; When Boston, New Jersey, Detroit each went down although they were outrageous favorites. Yes the race was touted as a challenge for handicappers but so what. You had to be good at that too. It's been fun to learn from all the folks here and with them too as we wrestled with how well we read or didn't read the rules. It got quiet lately as we all went back to re-read what we signed up for. We all took off running for the 5000 before we knew all the details. We got straightened out pretty fast by the other players and we were soon all on the same page. I hope that the next race has a button to push for all newcomers to have to read all these posts before starting all these arguements again!! Thanks everyone and thanks to Wagerline.

Everyone that is complaining that the contest is too easy. That you dont really need to be good to win this, to you i ask, why in the hell would you have a problem with them making it easy for you to win? Are you that stupid? or just full of yourself. Hell i wish we could get more picks each day and have juices that are even higher. Shit i even wish that is was as easy as them just handing me the prizes. People who are full of themself cant see pass their nose to see the bigger picture. You play this to win, the easier the better. Don't you guys agree?||an_light.gif' border=0>

I agree with you, whatever you say people are going to bash you since you didnt win. Race was fun but needs some changes, but hey its FREE and has nice prizes. It's obviously going ot have problems they are trying something nobody has tried before. Props to wagerline but it needs changes and we will just have to wait til the next one.

Thats fine and all, but shouldnt people come up with ideas that actually improve their chances of winning. Instead of trying to make it harder on everyone else. People say its not challenging enough, and that they dont get to utilize their skills. That its base on luck and the manipulation of the game. They also try to attack the streagy that they themselves was stupid to figure out, but only realize that after the game is already over. To thous MONDAY MORNING QUARTERBACK just shut the F up and and go get me a beer||an_roll_laugh.gif' border=0>

If they run a contest where you box heavy favorite pickers have your picks deducted if you lose, you won't stand a chance. what ya did was play it like a box if you took all heavy favorites. I had this same argument with some of you pussies that prey on a survivor mistake to make your pick. Those assholes thought nothing was wrong with it because it was wagerlines mistake. I say grow a set of nuts and make a pick fair and square.

redsox what are you three years old? the guy writes a post and the next two guys agree with it because it is the right thing and you bring that same old childish crap when you should put a shield behind your head so you can catch the point. Everything seems to fly way over your head. Did you eat a lot of paint chips when you were younger?

redsox what are you three years old? the guy writes a post and the next two guys agree with it because it is the right thing and you bring that same old childish crap when you should put a shield behind your head so you can catch the point. Thor, if you consider increasing your chances of winning, as playing like a box. Maybe you shouldnt be a dick and follow along. Maybe then you would be in the top hundreds and not the thousands. You talk about growing a set of nuts, maybe you should focus more on your brain cells. You are surely lacking in that department. You of all people shouldnt be calling anyone childish. I can still smell the breast milk on your breath. Until you can stop peeing on your balls, you shouldnt be telling anyone what they should and shouldnt do

Hey Thor, you backed up your handicapping with all of your picks and it showed. You picked your fair share of -160 to -175 teams looking at your history. Maybe the reason I was ahead for so long and finished in the top 25 was because I went 14-3 ATS in College hoops and was well over 50% in the NBA too. Also, I started out 14-1 on over/unders. You couldn't even come close to touching that. Flat out, you're picks sucked. You play the game to win, not to be able to lose and cry about it later. Grow up. The people that ended up at the top showed why they deserve to be there instead of you!

Also Thor, you are correct, when I bet, I don't bet those -170 or -180 games. However, an important lesson to learn in life is to adjust to the rules of the game. Most of the picks I make on this site, I don't make with my own money, however, you have to change the way you play, to give yourself the best opportunity to win. If you haven't learned that lesson out of life, you're screwed. In life, sometimes you have to play the game when someone else has set the rules.......You change the way you do things to make yourself come out on top & the ability to change says more about a person than bitching and whining about a great contest. You have a lot to learn in life.

My apologies with my last post, I was totally incorrect. What I meant was Thor "IS" the biggest idiot on this site. Congrats to the people who 'played like pussies' who took home some cash and will be laughing all the way to the bank. Like I said, some people are just jealous. Thor-------> ||an_cry.gif' border=0>

"what i would recommend is instead of allowing favorites up to -180 how bout you cut it down to say -130" -- toadman i agree: while the contest is perfectly different and fun to win a tv or whatever, it would still be as fun i think to get 100 wins with the -130 juice idea BUT ALSO be more realistic of gambling. toadman has a great point!!!

Look at the post from Ponch that says "NEXT RACE" I'm not a brain surgeon, but that might give you the answer.
