Ya what we now know is that CG didn't have the 1 main characteristic needed to make it out there in LV......discipline.  Doesn't matter how good you are, without discipline you're done.  I truly am bummed CG hasn't succeeded, but you chase losses and you play lottery ticket parlays.......you don't have what it takes.

Agree 100%....would have been nice to see the guy have a .001% chance of succeeding instead of .0001% though

100% accurate. No matter when/where he went, he wouldn't have had the discipline to make it full time. The dude is a mental headcase, and something is always going to set him right off the cliff.

Hell, if he found something he's winning with he should keep at it until it runs dry. 

Personally, I think these trends are silly on every level. It's variance, nothing more nothing less. That said, it's better than his reasoning back when he was "capping" so might as well stick with it.

Paul Emmel has always been considered a pitcher killer.

In 2012, Paul's games from behind the plate resulted in a remarkable over total, 21 times. Only one game under. A silly trend, hardly. This year he's back at it, allowing upwards of 11 runs a game.

Never take an under total when this man is behind the plate regardless of who the pitchers are. You have to give CG some credit for cashing in on an obvious trend.

Trust me, I've heard plenty of this Paul Emmel trend dating back to last year. I even made sure to watch one of his games closely to see what kind of strike zone he had. Nothing whatsoever stood out to me in terms of being a "hitters ump." 

That said, if you guys think you have an edge here I am not one to tell you otherwise. It's just my opinion.

CG is more interesting when he has a working bankroll.

If cg is working totals on Home Plate umps,I'll bet he takes a look at Under 7.5 LA Angels.I know well enough cg doesn't take requests.

james: It was a ballsy play but brilliant timing.  StL coming off a Sunday Night game and travelling.  Rockies stewing at Home about losing in 10 innings.  Colorado blasts a 5 run 1st inning and goes wire-to-wire.

Scal: CG has never lied about his Bankroll or Play Amounts in over 7 years on Covers. 



I get it how CG is not universally liked on here.  OK?  I get it.
But I'll continue to post his plays because he IS WINNING.
And doing it consistently.
