My condolences goes out to CG's grandfather... I read a few pages here and there... At the end of the day... Most people will do as they please... The 2% that was mentioned here that make a living doing this... Has a big enough bank roll to sustain many losses.. Eventhough the 2% will continue winning over the coarse of many years overall ,, they will still reach a point of negative fluctuation.. The question is can they survive that loss... IMO the 2% isnt gambling... Just because you can win or lose doesnt mean you are gambling... If you can realistically demonstrate two things,, 1 you have a replenishable bankroll or alot of money,, 2 y can maintain a high winning percentage and make all the right moves associated with your on going bankroll management... Simply put,, the house can lose money on any given week... But over all they will end up winning... They have the government banking them and big corporations... You do not... Again most people will do whatever they please at the end of the day... And most people are not in the 2% category... I wish you the best,, and im sure most of us will see the worst yet to come,, that is most likely inevitable... With 30k bankroll given your situation,, i would put it all on the superbowl... Yes just 1 game... Your chances will be much better win or lose.... Think about that...

I live in Vegas and do recreational betting, not make a living off of it. Even a hard working capper with discipline finds it hard to make a living of betting. You wont find those type of persons gambling at the tables and machines or blowing money on other wasteful activities. They spend the majority of their time dedicated to their craft and looking for the best lines.

I love the play... I am a little concerned now though that they wouldn't let me buy it up to +6 to win 4K might cost me.. especially with all u clowns on here telling me how dumb it is to buy half pts.. would just be fitting that such a large play now ends in a 6 pt Kentucky victory..

cant think like that though, love the play.. got a team who will win outright at +5.5 and the best line in town at least at this time.. I couldn't wait till tomorrow.. wanted to lock in and black out and not worry about it till gametime tomorrow

This is a startling level of self awareness that I did not think "The CG" was capable of. Can it be possible that he has some small inkling of what a train wreck he has allowed himself to become?

Vegas did not do anything to you that you did not allow it to do to you. Many men with far stronger characters' than yours have been destroyed and bankrupted by Vegas. The real test of how depraved and low you have become is still ahead.

When the bankroll is gone and you are back in Jersey for your grandfather's funeral and you go for the reading of the will and find out you have a tidy sum of inheritance...will you treat that money any differently than your own?

Will you honor your Paps memory with more degeneracy?

Will you fail one more test?

Sadly, like the Prodigal son in the Bible, you will most likely blow it all and be relegated to feeding the in troughs of the homeless shelters...until you finally beg enough gas money to crawl back home and beg forgiveness of your family.
