here's my advice. you've got 10k. put 2k aside to live on for 1 month. don't touch this money for anything put food/gas/utilities. take the remaining 8k and bet it on one game. cap your behind off and find one game, however long it takes to find that one game. be patient and put in the work. let's say you hit it. you now have a little over 15k. now do the same thing. find one game and let it ride. if you hit you now have over 28k plus your 2k for living expenses. you now have a 500 a bet bankroll. put the work in and learn money management. i know a lot of people will say this strategy is crazy, and it is. but it's not any crazier than what he's doing. also, you should get a job, any job. you need something to pass the time. find something you can have fun at. possibly something that will allow you to spend sometime capping while you work (this would just be a bonus). you need a plan of some sort. plan your work and work your plan. quit drinking. work out. eat right. get your mind straight. no drugs. these are the things that will make you succeed. your choice. just something to think about.

CG, I am serious. I would go right to VIP sports and ask to speak with Steve Stevens himself and sell the hell out of yourself just like you sold yourself in this thread.
Be honest about the losses and show him you have 200+K views and 10K responses in a thread on a site where some threads get 200 views and 3 responses.
I think he'd like you and I honestly think he could hire you.
Just jump right into it.
It's not like your the typical gambling degenerate. You've made a name for yourself as an online presence.
Tell him the NBA and NCAA are not your thing and the MLB and NFL are where you shine.

I think getting a job is a great idea. Having that steady source of income flowing in could help your capping mentality. When you lose now, you are losing bill $$ and rent $$ and food $$, etc. I think that can weigh on a person, makes you press harder, force things too much. I mean, you worked when you did well at football last year, right?

If I understand the show correctly, he doesn't hire "cappers." He hires salesmen to sell his picks. I 100% agree CG would be good as a salesman. But that's what he'd be hired to do, if he could live with it.

It's this simple. Put about $7700 on nc st +3 tomorrow. They likely win outright but take the 3. The real Louisville team is the one who squeaked by UC Irvine, not the one who beat Northern Iowa. Pitino himself said that was by far their best performance of the season. NC St isn't a bunch of slow white boys. They have the athletes & scorers. Already spanked Louisville when they had their starting PG who subsequently got dismissed. Hey but what do I know? Only about 70% on the tourney so far. Make the bet & you're back in biz CG. Good luck, but I wouldn't get your hopes up about it. Like everyone else has said, this is a similar job to a student fresh out of an undergrad sports management program who's job it is to sell tickets for an organization that hires them.
And I don't think the TV show really exists anymore to answer someone else's question.
