It is still all in front of you, Nick.
There is plenty of time to grind out a stead income until football season. But, you must understand, you MUST grind. It's the only way your skills can work for you to overcome the variance. Trying to hit plays too large for your bankroll is not a good choice at any time, much less when you are down to 20k.
Take some time. Clear your mind. Get your focus back.
And I have said more than a few times that I believe it would benefit you to go back and re read the early part of this thread. Your own words stand as sound counsel for you now and you need to hear them again.

Yeh, that's it. It's the visitors. And bad luck. Lots of bad luck. And those interfering, miserable visitors...parents and such. Just be glad it didn't have anything to do with random contacts like milfs, or dancers, or cab drivers. Or alcohol. Or lines of whatever up your nose. Or money-management issues.
Look at this way, maybe. So far, it has cost you a lot of money to help educate some other wannabes. Maybe.
But for sure, I wouldn't pay any attention to anyone who suggested that you could possibly need any help with side issues, such as anger, alcohol, etc. Including yourself...you were probably having only a moment of insanity when you were acknowledging those possibilities.
So soldier on. Nothing here that a few wins and milfs can't fix. Nobody before you has ever had any of the difficulties that you seem to be facing, or not facing.

CG seriously you need to start applying for a job ASAP. You have a degree so you'll be able to get something paying a descent amount. Getting 35k/yr isnt a bad idea. You are putting to much pressure on yourself trying to gamble for a living. Pros dont put all their eggs in one basket like you did with Uconn Man. I'm pulling for you to succeed but you are on a path to brokeness. Take a break and protect that 20k u have. Thats still more $ than the average 28 yr old has. Be smart

Ive done this a very long time and i can tell u, winning is boring.. listen to smacksmiter... set your BR tomorrow, play a certain % of it on all your plays.. u have shown u can pick winners at a decent clip but your bets are all over the place.. if u do not do this, u will fail.. u can still make it but your time is running out..

No. he wont get a job. that's not the point of the trip to vegas. he's too lazy to work. he thought he would place a few bets a day, and chill for the rest of the time. but thats not how life works.

This thread has had so many elements since its inception.
- Inspiration from seeing a young man take a shot at his dream
- Sage advice from respected and knowledgable gamblers
- Comedy and drama from Vegas
- Ultimately a cautionary tale (young man with a gift of picking winners thinks he cannot lose, starts getting off the path and flushes his dream down the toilet)
Hopefully there's a place in here where this becomes a redemption/comeback story. The part where the guy finds his way before its too late, changes his methods and practices to become succesful, and digs himself out of the world of crap he's buried under.
You don't want to go back to a 9-5 job Nick. I was in your position before (twice actually) and kick myself in the behind to this very day because of the poor choices (namely money management).
If you lose your bankroll you WILL be miserable making that commute each day, reliving your glory days in Vegas while youre in that boring office for 8-10 hours a day. It will eat you up.
Don't fukk this up dude. You still have a chance.

I don't understand why you keep betting college hoops. You were slaying NBA for awhile and still would be if not for the $5k tilt loss on Sacto. You have been blowing on college hoops though. Consider giving up college hoops for this season and playing NBA... or shutting it down until football season and get a spring-summer job in the meantime?
