I'm really surprised CG didn't jump all over the Nuggets/Warriors game, news was Kerr was going to sit some starters and if you got in early it was a hell of a deal. I know the total was 218.5 at 10:30am EST on 5dimes and was 207 at game time. That's a pretty big middle...I just don't get the feeling CG puts much effort into selecting games, but then again it's his money to flush

It's funny because Scal keeps going after CG trying to make this journey feel like a failure. Any little slip up by CG, and Scal is there. He's always lurking ready to strike when CG is most vulnerable. The guy literally does nothing else, it's just so funny. I'm definitely rooting for CG, but somebody needs to be the villain here and Scal is playing that role wonderfully.

Really. Where is the rule somebody needs to be villain?  Sounds like jealousy to me.  I get that being helpful and critical may help the guy.  Just don see the sense in what seems mean-spirited.

The main problem with this is it is not a movie set.

It is real life.

Life has enough tough spots in it to where there is no need for "villians" in it.  Those who intentionally inflict unwanted pain just to do it, under the guise of "tough love", are filling an unneeded role.

CG is going to do what he chooses to do.  Why not choose to attempt to educate and enlighten without browbeating and insulting?

The only reason I can see is that scal gets some benefit from it himself.  It certainly does not benefit me, the thread reader, CG...it should not benefit any logical, educated thinking person.

Maybe scal was raised in an abusive situation...dominant father or mother...it would fit that he would seek to dominate others if that is all he has ever known or been taught.

There's a pretty big line that separates bullying and "tough love". Apparently, its not big enough or red enough for him to see.

Is this known to be his handicapping style??  Yes it was a good play if you knew ahead of time the starters were gonna sit. Still backups play worse defense and actually try to how up sometimes.  This should be a stay away game. 
Just weird to me that everyone picking games for the guy. No offense meant.

I have been helpful to the guy. I've advised him on a half dozen games he all lost, one for 5K because he ignored my advice.

He won a single game I was suspect of: Lakers/Bucks. That's it.

If he listened to even HALF my advice on the 6 games, he'd be up and if it included he Kings, way up.

Not jealous of Scal at all. The guy can't cap 45% and spends all day writing novels on the message boards. He's evil because he constantly attacks CG. Scal is the biggest hypocrite on the board. Says CG can't cap and how bad his plays are, yet Scal definitely can't cap and never even goes against CG's plays. If Scal doesn't agree with one little thing in a post, well then we'll have a novel waiting for us shortly. You might call his stuff advice, but the way he writes is just so passive aggressive. The guy is clearly Jealous CG is getting all this love.

Why exactly should he be taking your advice? Sure, you've been correct on a few recently, but other than that why should he think you're any better than he is?

Scal---no offense---but he obviously doesn't need advice on games from anyone on here. He is hitting better than 99% of folks on here.  He needs money management advice and that sort of thing. I have no problem with him picking his own games.

Correct. You misread my post.  That is exactly what I was saying in a nicer way.

Why is this particular play so important?  I give folks a pass on futures plays. Come on. Is this the only play he as made or something?

The CG delivers a clutch performance with his back on the wall like usual. Winning % is sick. So many said I was done and would be down 10K by weekend yet I'm one win away from GREEN very quick after Mondays Debacle
