I have around 37K or so for Vegas saved job paid 49k. 3 hour round trip commute tho and wanted a change of scenery doing what I love most

I wish you well, but idle time in Vegas (especially during a Monday of limited action), is a recipe for a health and bankroll disaster.
Hogwash. Spend your "idle time" in the gym, the pool, the spa, or some other constructive body & mind endeavor.
You will be fine as long as you keep your eyes and mind on the prize. The failure of others has absolutely NOTHING to do with YOUR GOALS.
Stay focused and remember RULE # 1... Protect your bankroll at all times. Whenever in doubt utilize Rule # 2... Which is Refer to Rule # 1.
Don't get too caught up in "March Madness". Utilize the Dog Plus Points and the Dog Plus ML. Baseball is only two months away. You should have $10 - $15 K put away for that one long season alone.
Relax and stay focused. You'll be fine. Just beware of women, booze, and false friends.

I've noticed you keep referencing "if I had made that bet 5x the amount I'd be up X amount of dollars" just my humble opinion, when you get out to Vegas don't make such a leap….maybe double or triple your bets. Because by increasing them 5 fold and you go on a 0-7, 0-8, 0-9, 0-10 run….that could be devastating to your bankroll. So be caution with that my friend. Enjoy the YouTube videos, buddy…keep it up and keep up the mindset. You are right, wasting money on a hotel would be stupid. Also, you said you plan on making your super bowl wager a 1k play. Don't make it a 1k play unless you are really feeling it…I mean it's just another game. They come and they go. If you are unsure make a 200-500 dollar play. Save the bucks when you can, hoops, bases, etc will be there and around the corner, another football season. With the dream you are trying to obtain, don't feel pressured like you have to bet more than normal simply because it's the last game of the year. I did that last season with Denver in the super bowl and it basically ruined my NFL season betting. An entire body of work (the 17 week regular season and all the playoff rounds)…all on one dumbass game.

I wish you all the best mate but from what I have read there are simply way too many " highs and lows " in your every day life that are exacerbated by gambling and/or drinking for you to eke out a steady living as a pro gambler. I think you might lack the even keel and the ability to compartmentalize your gambling from your other hobbies/pastimes and there will be way too many ebbs and flows for you to deal with.
I also don't like the fact that you assume very simply that if you had bet more this season you would have won more. It is just not that simple.
To quote Morrissey and The Smiths " The Devil will find work for idle hands to do " and there is no worse place on Earth to have too much free time and too much money in your pocket than Las Vegas.
In saying that, as long as you are betting only your hard earned and saved cash and not getting into hock/debt/credit card debt to finance your gambling, then the worst case scenario is that this gig is not for you and you get yourself another job and join the rest of us working stiffs back in the real world.

I pick near 60% in each sport usually by years end. I will be smart with my money management and not chase... All I am saying now is if there are certain spots where I am up now and want to raise my bets some I can. Billy Walters didn't become a zillionaire by flat betting every game. There are certain spots where I can raise my bets more. Like the bengals at pats SNF game... People questioning the pats heart? Bengals come in a fraud 3-0 and are favored? I hit my bookie for my max amount per bet of $500 on pats 1H, game, ML and 2H then I even did a moneygram and hit the pats ML +125 $1000/$1250. In Vegas I was thinking that could have just been a 10K play hit on the Pats at +3 to be safe. Or my SEC game of the year..... Ole miss at ARK. I knew ARK was going to win that game by 10+ even tho they were the dog.... Hit them again for my max bet with bookie $500 at +3 and $500 at +135 ML. 31-0 hogs.... Those were the two games where I loved a side and I could have hit in Vegas for 10K again at hogs +3 to be safe. Two 30+ pt massacres where the dog just dominated how I expected. Again I will be smart with my money management but those two really stuck out to me like a sore thumb of situations where the dog would not only win outright but would disgrace the other team and two 30+ pt blowouts. Now I feel I have opportunity to take advantage of the times these type of games arise which is prob only 2-3 times a season... Obviously with more money wagered comes more risk tho so have to really be careful picking these rare situations out and I understand that.

But yes with a 35K bankroll it's dumb to bet more than 1K a game 95% of the time I get that.. 81-63 In college foot seperate betting, 74-51 in nfl seperate betting, 55-39 last year in nba seperate betting. Check all my season long threads for confirmation. I mean the 60% number I'm right near with regularity that most say is impossible to be at by years end in most sports. I'm hitting at near or at 60% and picking every primetime game and never taking a football weekend off that's the scary part. I will have ever better discipline in Vegas and touch only the games I really have a feel for since this is now my only source of income.

Gotta be careful tho with basketball and baseball since football is my forte.... Look at yesterday.... I made one bet... Okc at Wash UNDER 207... 184 pts in regulation scored but of course tied and it goes over by a pt in OT... U cap a game and hit an under by 23 pts in regulation and still lose ur bet lmao. That shows what a crapshoot hoops can be especially. Luckily I only had $110 risked on it as I am betting hoops small now to protect my bankroll for Vegas. (Don't wanna go crazy before this epic journey on hoops right now). I also liked the Pelicans -7, nets +5.5 and Cavs -10 but played neither of them because again I'm not playing anything large before my ride out to Vegas except football.. Can't wait fellas that's why I am up now posting. I can't sleep at night. It's fair to say I might like betting on sports as much or more than anyone. I will not stop until I become one of the greatest cappers alive and I honestly expect to be that at some point

Wow. If you are worried that you lack the discipline to not let alcohol affect your dream then I have some grave doubts about you making it.
I love a drink as much as the next guy but I never let it affect my work, yet it is obvious that you cannot say the same. Not only that, but you have been honest enough to say that it might seriously and heavily affect your work, and when you are self-employed that is a huge red flag.
If you do not have the discipline or dedication to stay off the drink until next football season as you start your new exciting endeavour then I seriously doubt that you will make it until next football season. I hope you prove me wrong.

Lease Monday feb 9th starts. So prob Wednesday the 4th now I'm thinking. Limit hotel time figuring 39 hour trip give or take. also gotta check route. Route 80 or the "southern route". Drive to Knoxville then 40 west for a long long way depends on snow forecast. DePaul +10, providence -2, bulls +5.5 three teamer lock it the Fuckk up posted in my season long Ncaa thread Pissed I only went $100 on it. I was close to going $200 for 1.2K. Can't get upset with a nice 6/1 hit winning $600 tho

See living in Vegas soon will be much better for me tho. Out of my three teamer game I liked least was providence -2. I would have hit DePaul +10 for a k and bulls +5.5 for a K. Two outright dog winners. But with $241 left in online book (after championship Sunday sweep) it would have been dumb to reload. Soon no longer an issue.

Championship Sunday sweep and cashout* Youwager money orders come in 2-3 days max for anyone wanting a great book. They have sent me 7K in last 3 weeks and I deposited only 3.3K. So a nice profit and now another $841 to dick around with after this 3 teamer hit. Goal now is to keep grinding hoops before Vegas and have enough where I don't even need to deposit anymore for a K play on Super Bowl. Then after Super Bowl hopefully a win, a final cashout before Vegas. Will have bankroll closer to 40K then 30K because of this hot run. So I picked up right where I left off with you wager even after two bookies cutting me off for wiping them out during my hot football season basically all year
