They kicked a field goal to go up by 10 and insisted that Phil get a garbage score. NE never made a first down after the 8 minute mark of the 4th quarter, never even tried. They could of won that game by 21 easily. The last play Rodney Harrison intercepted the ball and layed down with noone in front of him.
Next time you see a team dominating another team and then stop, watch it objectively.

Ah the officials. Now they have a get-out-of-jail card in their pocket with the most disgusting penalty of the season: The unnecessary roughness on the passer.
I got burned on this call/non-call many, many times this year.
If this insane situation that has developed regarding roughing the passer, It might make me stop being interested in NFL games.
The quarterback CANNOT be allowed to wait until the very last possible micron of a second to throw, run or WTF. 275 lb. extremly quick men cannot stop on a dime, nor should they be expected to.
Did anyone have Carolina vs. Washington? Julius Peppers smashed into Campbell's shoulder pad as he was throwing, Carolina intercepted the ball and it got reversed for roughing. It wasn't even close to roughing.
The game was still very much in doubt at time, but Redskins ended up scoring on the drive.

I don't know if you caught it or you remember it, but the government recovered a mint condition passport of one of the hijackers from the ruins. I saw that and thought what the hell??? His passport of all things survived the impact perfectly intact and resting comfortably on a pile of ruins??? Yes, I guess anything is possible. Seems far more likely the government just added a little evidence to the scene. Some people can't even accept that.
And, assuming the government did plant a little evidence that doesn't by any stretch of the imagination mean that there was any evil intent whatsoever. Cause everyone who knows anything about betting knows, the oddsmakers job is to pick a number that will get an equal number of bets on either side so they limit their exposure it one team wins and collect on the vig. The NFL wanted a high profile player like Reggie Bush to go to the Saints....no doubt about it.........after how the government handled the whole Katrina tradgedy in Nawlins.....this was a way to boost the morale of the city and give it's residents something positive to rally around.
