Well folks the 50th Day on the 50K contest comes down basically to the Best of 3 series starting tonight between Prez and Teddy.
Whoever wins this contest, it will not show Prez is a better capper than Teddy if Prez wins the contest nor it will not show Teddy is a better capper than Prez if Teddy wins the contest. Throughout the contest, it has been very even. Both Prez and Teddy are both equally good. It is ashamed someone will have to lose the 25k to proof who is better. Just by judging there is no clear cut winner here.
So who is the clear cut winner here. First, Covers and Bookmaker earn a lot of publicity and I for sure will continue listening to the show because I sure learn a lot in the last 2 months. Second, to those who follow the contest and wager on the plays, we all make a lot of money. I know I have made a lot of money, I was satisfied with my winning that I did not wager at all this week. And lastly, we each made a lot of new friends (except for some bashing moments) and hopefully the friendship will carry over to another thread once this contest is over.
Lastly I want to say special thanks to 44-Dimes and Lump for keeping up with the contest. Without them, this contest will not be well and alive today. So a big kudos to both of you.

I listened to the radio show and prez and the guest both basically said that there was no chance in hell that Pittsburgh would lose today. I don't know anything about hockey but I bet on it and they didn't even score a goal. To follow that, i copied Teddy's pick and lost there too. What a horrible day. Anyone know where I can best make up that lost money tonight?

The weird thing about prez's picks is that i made half time bets on the UNDER so i cancelled out both his losers...Thats the good thing about 2nd half betting... Once the games started I just knew there was no way in hell they would go over...but todays boston game came awfully close in the 2nd half... did i just fluke out..or is this something anyone else does?

Ted & Prez jus started listining 2days ago & now im in the hole!! Wish i cought u guys sooner.. oh well lucky i got a cple of dimes to spare!! Give u guys 1 or day wiyh a record like that.

- I might out in a bigger bet on the first 5 under...just cuz i dont know how much that tigers bullpen has left after the anaheim series...they pitched 10 innings combined the last 3 games.... i would hate to see great games thrown by Porcello and Greinke.... only to have the likes of bobby seay, fernando rodney, brandon lyon give up some back door runs....!...
- but the KC offence can be pretty anemic at times....so im hoping it wont matter
should be a good pitchers duel...really looking forward to it... greinke's a treat to watch...and u gotta love pulling for the guy...battling through serious depression problems that cost him a few good seasons....
