No offense to either of you (Teddy and The Prez), but the validity of this bet is definitely questionable based on some of the plays you two have used. Like i said before, it was genius in terms of marketing the show/everything else, but is that all it is? Prez has chose to bring this contest into "extra innings," but then chooses to use his 7* MLB play instead of a 9* NBA play which seems like his stronger play, and would give him a better chance to catch Teddy. Also, if it is a matter of leaving the best play for the paying customers, then why even bring this contest into the extra week if you would be making more money selling the plays. I may be out of line here, and Prez's 9* NBA play may be the same as Teddy's play used in the contest today (Mavs +6.5) and therefore would be pointless to use, and defeat the whole purpose of his strategy to run Teddy down. Although this may be the case, I'm pretty sure this situation has happened in the past, and been talked about before between the two of you on the radio. It may also just be that the Prez's best plays at the time of the show were the 7* plays. To tell u the truth I am a little confused about the whole thing.

Maybe...based on Mike's comment...Teddy is smart also...using the strategy by buying all of Prez's pick and then uses Prez's strongest one to play his 50k contest. This then forces Prez to use his next best one. Remember Prez is one game behind so Prez cannot use the same game like he did on Friday. At the same time, Prez now cannot use the strategy of picking the game opposite Teddy. Because if he does, all of Prez's paying customers would not be happy...smart move Teddy (....remember I am only speculating here)

hey bandit's back and with nice words again - mikeg - im not going to get into this really brother - we have a lot of money riding on this and it is what it is.
if you guys go back and read the 1st few pages me and teddy got killed in here - told we suck we couldn't hit 50% if we knew the score etc etc - it was terrible yet funny and what did we do
after 50 days - teddy was 32-18 -- wow - and my 30-16-2 - seriously out of 100 plays we lost 34 - let me say that again we lost 34 plays out of 100 - so questoin the validity or not - kudos to both me and teddy and also lump and 44 who matched us play by play.
you asked why we brought it into an extra week - we have 50k on the line and that is the number 1 priority good sir.
till tomorrow gents - praying this game stays under.

Actually just for the sake of accuracy, I think the records were 31-19 for Teddy, and 29-19-2 for The Prez (or 30-20 if you just get rid of the 2 push games)
It is now a tie, 31-20 for each of the cappers. Should be fun to watch down the stretch.
