San Diego St is my nemisis. In just 2 weeks. I bet a nickel on UNLV, SD destroys them. I bet a nickel on BYU, SD wins outright. Then i jump on their wagon. I bet 3 dollars on them, and they forget to cover the spread by 1 measly point!! Of course last night, I take St Marys +4 and it's 13-0 to start and I push.
They're my 2nd nemisis. Them and wisconsin. Anytime I play on them, no matter what side, it's a dead loser. I hadn't played a Wisc game since 2 years ago when I had a 7 team parlay. 7th game on Wisc and the other team hits a meaningless 3 when down 5 at the buzzer to bust the number by 1. Yet, I tried them again on FSU in the 1st round this year. My biggest bet of the 1st rd. Of course FSU is owning them and they somehow pull it off with a minute or 2 left.
Does anyone else have teams like these? Am I just niave, superstitous, or stupid, by letting these stick in my mind?
