Williams Owns Schiavone

....H2H 7 times, and 7 times a winner. I don't see anything changing in this match. I well expect Venus to be 8-0 after tomorrow. I'm taking Williams to win this and may do some live in-running betting on this one as well.

You may be right.

But I'm going to put 1/4 unit on Schiavone ml. It will be my smallest bet of the day---just for the action.

I don't have a whole lot of expectations, but I do think she has a chance to pull off the upset.

My reason is simply that I'm focusing more on their h2h this year...and pretty much throwing out the old matches between them. Venus has always been a consistently good tennis player; but Schiavone seems to have reached her best just "this" year.

If she had been blow out in straight sets "this" year I would definitely take Venus. But she won the 1st set both times. Something tells me that, IF she can get the 1st set this time, she may get the 2nd or 3rd set.

Just my take.

BTW there is the reason it's my smallest bet. Should I lose (and I probably will), it won't kill me....

how often do you get a williams at under -250 before a semis or finals....????

is it fishy? or just a gift? i love seeing BP on it which makes me feel good....but still

I think Venus goes down today

She served awful against Peer, she will have to serve much better today

Schiavone having by far the best year of her career will test Venus's conditioning today

 

I'm on the +4 & ML.

I disagree also as this line is begging for venus action....

 

she is 7-0 and but 5 of those were before sciavone found herself

the last two, which in madrid and aussie open both went 3 sets, but a lot more competitive.  I took woz over pova for one reason and that is unforced errors and i will be taking schiavone too, because venus will have a ton of errors...

... GL, but I am sticking with Venus. Schiavone is a head case and when the dust settles, I just believe Williams will be too much for her (Again). Fran has had it easy to this point and she knows it. She's not looking forward to seeing Venus today. Anyone but her archrival Venus.

...and the great thing is. If I am losing this one, I can bet it live and go the other way if I need to.
