I now hope Troicki does not get the nod in singles, he is a born choker. I wanted him to get the nod when I saw how he started this match, thought perhaps nerves were not going to affect him but they came to the fore later on... Tipsveravic might be nervous as well.
France is now the favorite to win the entire final IMO. I noticed Tipsveravic is -140 to beat Simon, to me that depends on his nerves whether that line is accurate.
I am going to pound Djokovic and then hedge one unit on Simon but mainly let it ride. Things are now more stressful than they would have been. ah well, this was a fun match and who knows, maybe the Frenchies choke their balls off and hand the break back.

at the moment of my post, the two favorites won, so really nothing out of the ordinary happened. and also, look at troicki and the other guy and clement and llodra, you still think that the french are as heartless as the serbs?
i did not rub in anything, i am often busy and can't post so i went just a little bit more in detail in my second post, although i only stated what matches were going to be played, if you didn't do those rather simple calculations, well, that is your problem.

also as far as more is more heartless, with eithe rGasquet or Simon playing for it in the fifth rubber (if Djoker wins) we will see just how much heart the French have, because both of them are sorely lacking in that department, especially Gasquet. Either of them are probably more heartless than any of the Serbians, though Troicki can give them a run for their money.
I am betting 6 units on Djokovic to win 1.5 or a bit less, and hedging one unit on Simon or whoever plays the fifth rubber to cut some of the potential loss down. But obviously this means I am still letting the majority of it ride. I still think Serbia wins this final, I just wish I had thought things through and realized waiting for the fifth day would present the best value by far. This is my first time betting a Davis Cup final so live and learn.

Yes Djokovic should win.... I am not sure Forget will put in Llodra as he should be tired from almost five hours on court and there are questions about his fitness. That leaves Simon or Gasquet, with Simon being the probable choice since Gasquet has not played in awhile.
So it might really be Simon vs Tips for it all. I think Tips could win that certainly. Or will the Serbian coach choose to put in Troicki based on his form the first two sets of the doubles match?
But if they put in Llodra for France then Tsipveravic has a 1-0 atp and 2-0 challenger record, even though they were 3-4 years ago, so there is at least a shred of hope. And honestly Llodra did not impress me much yesterday, especially his returning. He did volley well.
