and if the implication is that I have done this elsewhere anytime recently  please name the match, because I have not, and do not forget to mention the past post losers I come in here with all the time. thanks, forum cop, but I am pretty sure I have built up my credibility here by now.

Do you understand what the word might means?

Keep this in mind...what if everyone just posted might with all of their picks.

I might play Djoker tomorrow...then we can wait for the result and decide whether we really played it or not

i think serbia's price was correct
if tipsa win , its over, but he did not
but the double's match is still on the air, serbia can win that match(i think france win) but anyway if serbia win , its over
if not djoko will win and its a final match which will be better than -240 serbia, but there is lot of if before that,
i know we could just wait the final match to bet serbia but thats gambling, serbia -240 was correct price.if france win tomorrow
pound serbia at may be + money.

Please show me where it mentions your bet was an action wager?    Didn't become just a stupid action bet until Tipsy lost. How convenient

I am definitely playing Serbia, 8 units risked to win a bit more than 3. Homefield is huge in Davis Cup ("When they come here, it will be Hell" said the Serbian captain) and Djoker is good for 2 of the 3 needed wins by himself, unless you seriously think Monfils can beat him in a best of 5 format on the road with Djoker thinking this is his only shot at DC glory!

Just need one apart from that.

If Tipsveravic beats Monfils tomorrow, which is possible, then I cash my bet immediately (in my mind). I also think Simon is bringing horrible form into this event and he always lets home crowds get in his head, has lost to the likes of Greul on the road this year, and many others.

Might also put a unit on Monfils in a parlay and hope to hit the middle of him winning but Serbia eventually winning the tie.

    btw nice writeup n3gative.

I am not bragging about the Monfils hit, that is already cashed the moment Djoker steps off the court. I am trying to figure out the true value of the mistaken Serbia price. I seriously doubt anyone thinks I am trying to build false credibility on a one unit winner when I come in all the time with past post LOSERS which would contradict your whole theory.

And I remember a little parlay you had, or supposedly had, not too long ago where a leg was already in and you felt the need to post about your desire for the other legs to hit. and there you did not even post about the possiblity of doing it before, so you are a damned hypocrite. I did not get on you for it, but that is because I am not an asshole.

get off your high horse and let the grown ups discuss pertinent topics. annoying beyond belief that you would distract from actual discussion with that crap simply because I used the word might instead of will, especially given your history. Hypocrite.

france double was -104 at pinny, now its -123
i still dont know why it was -104, current price makes more sense.
troicki in double won a tounament this year so with double's specialist nenad, we never know.
i respect pinny's line, if they let us bet at -104, there is reason for that,
the line movement which follows is not that important, obvioulsly bettors backed france to move that line to current line.
one thing i know , llodra clement is not a gift.

france double was -104 at pinny, now its -123
i still dont know why it was -104, current price makes more sense.
troicki in double won a tounament this year so with double's specialist nenad, we never know.

it was definitely mainly for action. I am damn sure there are lots of guys who did it for some action on the last tennis event of the year. that seems like a no brainer sparty, especially since I have not bet Davis Cup but a few times this year. forgiving me for not listing every single reason I made the bet in my first post oh great one, who has contributed nothing to this thread but a bunch of lame-beyond-belief character defamation attempts and not one thing that would actually help anyone trying to cap this event.

and who gives a shit anyway? I am trying to discuss this event. I admit I think I made a bad bet and want out and honestly was hoping some Serbian backer would come in and "talk me down" from the hedge. You are just wasting my time over minutia and technicalities. It is a free forum and I can post as I please. I am sure people have noted your disclaimer to not truly trust anything I have to say on this issue. Now, back on topic.

Thanks.,That seems crazy but explains a lot. I have been hunting for the doubles lines but on oddsoddsodds.com, Bookmaker and 5dimes have found nothing (not that Bookmaker would have them offered anyway).

yeah just found it on 5dimes, Clement/Llodra -135

I wonder if Bookmaker will do updated "to win" odds for the entire final. that would be nice.

with the doubles (if I cannot buy out) hopefully Clement's serve whittles under the pressure. My best hope I think.

Your a juvenile kid.... take your losses like a man. Is no shame in losing...but how you lose says alot about ones character. Also how a person wins confirms the same premise.

Its not hard to say... I am backing Monfils for 1 unit.

The word might implies the possibility that you could...but you didn't post for sure...so how can you expect anyone to respect it?

Also you seemed pretty emphatic in your intial Serbia play. Seemed like you were pretty confident and the wager was much more than a silly action wager.

When Monfils won you then convenient try to act like it wasn't a big deal as your wager was just an action wager. Am sorry but re-read your initial post... you seem pretty confident.

I hope everyone on here wins.... but the conduct of posters is important. Like I mentioned before...what if everyone starts using the term might ...doesn't that open a dangerous box?

you make some good points in your last two posts jjangoo11, I guess since it is two low dogs or even a low dog and a low fave that only having to hit one of the two makes the price fair. makes sense.  now I feel a bit better. hate having to hit a dog to win on the juice though, it feels strange. I am not sure I can buy out. I will state it if I can or not. got a feeling Bookmaker will not allow me the option and I will have to ride this out. I guess I always have the last ditch option of betting on the Frenchman in the fifth match.

lots to think about if I cannot buy out and the French win in doubles. I agree the opening lines mean more than where they move to so hopefully the books pegged it correctly.

I do not want people to respect the pick at all, who respects a -200 that hits anyway? That is the difference bwteen you and me. I could give a fuck what people think. I am trying to use other people to influence my picks, not vice versa. And you have yet to acknowledge that you yourself have past posted when we both know you have and you know the exact incident to which I refer, where you later had Krumm -350 as one of the latter legs but claimed to have one already in.

Opened a dangerous door, didn't you?

I may be juvenile but I am not a hypocrite. And I am only emphatic in my post in the sense that I placed 8 units on it. If I placed 3 on it I would just let it ride without thinking twice, but I went overboard. Forgive me for adjusting my thought process and thinking more deeply about my pick after making it. If you seriously think that was brought on by Tipsveravic losing or that I banked my -245 on Tips winning then you are deluded. My second thoughts were brought on by thinking things through better than I had the first time. God forbid I did not get it right the first time.

anyway jj has made me feel like 10% better about my bet. I hope still to buy out if I can tonight. Don't worry, I will post my move beforehand for your approval. lollololol.

"When Monfils won you then convenient try to act like it wasn't a big deal as your wager was just an action wager."

    yes sparty you caught me

i never ever thought monfils would win and the shock sent me into a mental tailspin

that is why I posted I was considering taking him to hit the middle before the match started, because I thought it was not even possible. makes a lot of sense!

you are a true joke to me sometimes. Once you go into douche mode there is just no stopping you. all over the word "might" for the person who has by far the most posts on this board. I do not enforce your rules so feel no need to follow them. Just make a post about what a liar you think I am and keep bumping it. You are totally diverting a thread that actually had a purpose because you think I tried to get respect off a one unit Monfils win, and yet I am the juvenile.

Believe the parlay was Aiko Nakamura over Panova.... Krumm over Robson and Craybas over Dentoni. Craybas had won and I needed Krumm and Nakamura. If I recall correctly I mentioned I was 100% lucky to have won it. I will mention it again here.... I was super lucky to have won it. Keep in mind I still needed Nakamura to win a 3rd set as a medium dog and needed Krumm to win as well.

Your not a hypocrite?  You bitched to lucash that he was rubbing it in after the fact. Think I recall you rubbing in Nadals win over Roddick just awhile back?

you both are acting like children.

sparty - i sympathize with what you're saying but don't be so freaking overbearing (i know, i know...i have been this way before).

bp - if you really don't care what people think about you, why are you typing page long responses to sparty.

1-1 at the end of Day One

Tipsveravic looked horrible in sets one and three but pretty decent for much of set two. Simon looked mediocre throughout. Djokovic I thought started very rusty but picked up steam. Monfils played very well for much of the match but had vulverable and defensive moments.

If Tipsveravic and Simon do end up playing I would give Tips the edge but it would be slight. Simon beat him, 7-6 7-6 two years ago but he was playing much better then and that is a razor thin margin that homefield advantage can swing. Would however depend on which Tipsveravic showed up.

I am just glad they chose Simon, hope they stick to him in the fifth match, and that Serbia's fate is not entirely up to the result in doubles tomorrow.

Ah yes, the true reason for you going into cop mode. You stated Nadal would in your eyes tank the WTFs for the Aussie Open. We argued at length about that and it still remains the most ludicrous thing I have heard all year. Never claimed to be a nice guy. If I could not batter the idea into your head myself I felt vindicated by his effort after the fact and the need to point it out.

and another difference is that lucash does not have a posted bet here. I told you clearly I was on Nadal and that you would be proven wrong about him tanking, which you thoroughly were.

He came in and basically posted my own thoughts to bash me after the fact, he had made no mention of it before I posted the exact same thing. totally different scenario.

and thanks for admitting you have past posted before.

goddamn you have a way of ruining threads with pointless BS. but thanks for reminding me how satisfying that Nadal win was. don't worry I will lose more than double what I won there if Serbia loses and I cant hedge, so now you have a free reason to cheer on France. enjoy.

Where do I say he is going to tank matches?   Think it clearly states I think he won't.

Rafael Nadal enters this last tourney with a cloud of uncertainy regarding his health.  He has had an amazing year and I am sure is ready for a little rest and relaxation after a greuling season.

Roddick enters this tourney playing average tennis. He was murdered by Fed and then wiped away in straights by Soderling.

The head to head on hards is 3-2 to Roddick with the most recent meeting being this year in Miami where Roddick won.

My take on this match is to back Andy here. I am not sure Nadal really cares about this tourney. I think his camp will not want to take any chances with his health here with a chance at the Rafa slam in Melbourne.

Nadal hasn't played in a month and should be rusty. I don't expect him to tank matches... I just am not sure we will see 100% from him here.

Andy has to be motivated here... he has no know this might be one of the last chances he has to win something at this stage. I expect him to be ready to try and push for a run here.

    Am taking Roddick +235

Andy has to be motivated here... he has no know this might be one of the last chances he has to win something at this stage. I expect him to be ready to try and push for a run here.

    Am taking Roddick +235

Roddick was up a set and break and was up in the breaker.... I was wrong on the fact that Nadal wasn't jaded at all...least not on the surface.

Unlike you I don't go into other threads after the fact and rub it in...and I don't gloat when I do win.

You were crying like a little baby in the 1st set when Roddick was winning...which you do often.

If you want to make valid points lets have it....but at least do some research instead of pulling stuff out of the air

I just enjoy debating* and am in a foul mood that I placed this bet so the last thing I wanted to read was how I broke the rules. Especially when I specifically held back from commenting on his past post at the time it was made. I never even mentioned Monfils as a winner until after he made his comment which makes it even more ridiculous. And the rest of his commentary on how it was wrong to list my pick as an action pick is just pointless assholishness.

Dude may be your friend but he can be a huge distraction and I am certainly not the only one who finds his antics annoying. Him attacking me over the word might is a joke man. Him attacking someone who posts about their great +600 winner after the dog has won the first set is worthwhile, stuff like that, but he goes way too far with his perceived role in here.

And he is doing it because he was crazy enough to go on and on about how Nadal would tank the WTF to preserve himself for the AO and I hammered him for it. And my only comment after sparty lost was "rusty, yes, tanking for the AO, fuck no" not really that bad, unless you are sensitive.

*--But I would rather debate the Davis Cup final. that is what annoyed me the most, because when he gets technical I know I can win those debates but what the hell is the point of even going there vs me.
