sparty honestly bro I am not reading your roddick posts man, I know you are damn sore over it but please leave it be. anyone who reads my posts at the end of your thread there knows the quotes I found on you, not that they were hard to find for anyone reading our back and forth in there. You coming in with the (now highly edited) post in here is beyond lame.

I love how you have cut and pasted part of like three different posts and yet cut out the very portions where you say he will not give 100% effort and not care much about the WTF. What a joke you are, it is right there for anyone to read in your old thread, but who the fuck would want to.

you lost. you reasoning of Nadal not thinking the WTF was that important was proven false ten times over. let it go. it is Davis Cup time now.

honestly man at least now I find this highly amusing!

sry to everyone else outside of sparty that I posted such long posts when I just should have lied and pretended to be sorry to shut him up and keep this thread on topic. I wanted it to be stuff like jjango and sims came in here with that was truly pertinent to the topic at hand. hopefully you can skim past the bs and not miss a beat. sry again.

not sure why sparty thinks he is the cop around here, but i think he normally makes a lot of good points although most of time in an annoying way.  (btw - he is no more my "friend" than you are.  this is a freaking forum for crying out loud.)

i also think that the things you type are pretty annoying a lot of the time, but you can do whatever you want.  i don't have to read it.

on this issue, you both have points and both are wrong on certain things.  there is no use in arguing b/c both of you are skewed by yourself.  you are not going to convince the other.

i am glad you post regularly although i have no idea if you win or not overall b/c you don't keep tabulations.

good luck with DC, although i am on the other side tomorrow.

I just cannot believe this so quickly lead to sparty quoting his posts on the Roddick pick.  fucking knew that was why he went into minutia man mode vs me. and then he edits the post to boot.

If you want to discredit me, go into one of the many posts I create myself making a case I want the forum to know about. Go into one and prove me wrong, but remember I won't be making asinine statements like "I am not sure Nadal cares about the WTFs" so it might be tough. Attacking me for posts made off the cuff in a thread like this is just lame. If I want people to tail me on something I make the case very clear, other than that I post trying to gather information and spark a debate, but not the type of debates you like to get into which help my pocketbook not one bit.

end of discussion. (Roddick sucks balls, btw. I watched some film of him in 2004 just last night and it is tragic how much of a pusher he has become compared to then.)

I posted a parlay once where I had one match in the bag and needed a 3rd set win on a +500 dog and needed another match as well. I admitted I was lucky to win...and I was...why? I didn't even cap it ... I just took a couple of people

this thread is so fucked I will let you have the last word here because I really want to gather some thoughts on this DC final and how people's opinions might have changed after today.

here is a good link for anyone who wants to read such opinions on a tennis forum. hopefully that makes up for me using this thread to argue with someone who I just shouldn't have even commented back to. If I could use an ignore function on a poster, it would be sparty, just to keep from boring people with pointless arguments, even though they do amuse me. apologies.

I am just going to ignore you know who's posts from now on. The lie about past posting 1000 times and all the other lies I could spend hours going off on but what is the point? It took good effort to pull myself away from the endless circle debate with that last word freak but after 15 minutes I was glad I did because life is too short.

Back to the matter at hand...

no way to hedge on Bookmaker, they did not put up the doubles or overall line again, and I am not putting money back on 5dimes jst for that purpose.

On 5dimes the line was -200 Serbia, now bet to -190.

French Doubles team is -150 now.

Going to be weird to cheer so hard for a doubles match but I definitely think it is critical. Djokovic wins the fourth rubber but the fifth is a true toss up and pretty scary if they insert Llodra like I think they might. Remember this crowd has a ton of French people in it so he might get pumped up like he does at home.

Also if they go with Troicki he might choke and with Tipseravic you have a 50% chance he brings total shit form to the court, even though he could be brilliant.

But cheering on a best of 5 doubles match is a first for me and I am sort of psyched about that. I just hope the Serbs can at least take a set and give me something to believe in.

Impressed with Troicki early. He is the wildcard to me. Does not seem like a weak link at all early, only one bad point in two games if that.

    This upset feels very possible.

    Serbs up a break 4-1

Clement looks weak as hell early and Troicki very strong, maybe even looks like the best player on court from either side

    1. Troicki

    2. Llodra

    3. Z

    4. Clement

I thought Troicki would be a weak link possibly but he looks better than his experienced doubles partner early. The serving difference between Troicki and Clement is vast and Troicki is volleying well.

Troicki is the key. Great to see them continuing to go after Clement.

second love hold in a row for Troicki.

at 5-2 Serbia is -2500 to win this set and now -275 to win the match. In a best of five that seems steep because things can change, but they are sure rolling early. This is thrilling to watch.

t comes down to it this Serbian coach had better put Troicki in the fifth rubber because the man is on fire playing for his country. I think Peak Troicki can beat any French Number Two.

    first set 6-3 Serbia

Z had two DFs trying to serve it out and a bad volley error fought off a break point. Held in the end.

now they are -300 in live.

    Troicki broken

crowd was yelling loud and screaming "out" during the rallies

Serbian fans had not done that yet but I hope they do now, since this has gotten classless

is anyone else watching this? saturday with tons of people banging money on Serbia, this the most critical match, and no one posting in here? slacking!

this crowd is insane. it is as jungle out there now.

2-1 Serbia in the tiebreak that will possibly decide everything.

Dominant tiebreak from Serbia, wins 7-3.

    Two sets to love.

Now -1000 to win in live betting.

about what I think Serbia would be if they won this one. I was going to pound Djokoivic over Monfils if they lost this but now I might be able to just let it ride, getting a -430 at -245 value. No way do I think Djoker will lose to Monfils in this setting. He said this was a once in a lifetime chance for him....

2 sets to 1 for Serbia now. Troicki choked in his first service game and they never recovered. He definitely tightened up some. Started out as the best player on the court for a set and a half....

I know Llodra and Clement came back from 0-2 in sets earlier this year so I am pretty worried now. want it done in four while Serbia still has a cushion.

    come on Serbia!!!
