Varvara Gracheva was 0-3 on grass courts before this week, including losing once in Bad Homburg in 2021 and in Berlin a few days ago. However, it seems she is enjoying playing her first tournament as a French player, having defeated Jaqueline Cristian 6-2, 6-1, and Sara Errani 6-2, 7-5 (the Italian served for the second set).
