Pack thanks for the awesome analysis. Fading Rafa at the larger numbers in semi and quarters wasn’t “comfortable” even though ended up on the plus side. In the end he crushed both Diego and Marco IMO.
Both USO finals versions of Rogers Cup finals 2.0 and hopeful both with the same men’s and women’s champ.

And to clarify on not being comfortable I mean they were both back door pushes and covers IMO. The play in the match was not indicative as Rafa thoroughly dominated.

i love u packers but i do believe medvedev is jr djokovic. i think u have to give the kid at least a set or over
We will find out soon...heres another way i look at it...Rafa and his team are experts in the field of scouting their opponents...Nadal destroyed Med in Montreal with less than a day to gain knowledge and create a game plan to take Med apart...now you give his team almost 2 full days? I know that Meds team will be doing the same, but Rafa is a different breed, just like Roger and Djoker...he simply doesnt lose deep in slams to people outside of Roger or Djoker unless hes carrying or hiding an injury...and my eyes see him as fit as ever which is a huge advantage here vs a worn down Med who's bicep could be an issue today if he gets down early and end up using it as an excuse post match if he gets rolled again like at Rogers cup.
FWIW, Ive been a Rafa fan all my life - and hes been very reliable in spots like these when playing guys reaching new territories in big events...if my wagers get flushed down the toilet, cant win them all right?

Packers has won enough this tourney, I would dearly like to see Medvedev win this 4th set. This is the first player besides maybe Thiem that can go toe to toe with the big three.

I'm not worried about that slam, Nadal will win at least one more French Open. And unless Thiem makes some changes, Nadal likely wins more than one and will tie Federer's 20 slam record. And Fed is way too old to win anything else.
