@vaas187 The way I saw it, Rublev was originally going to smash it into the left corner. He sees/feels Rune make a quick dash to his right (Rublev’s left) just as he is about to smash it. Rublev then makes a last second adjustment to hit it to his right, away from all of Rune’s momentum. Really should have been able to win the point (and the game) by smashing it into either corner or right at Rune himself. He had him scrambling. He completely whiffed from making that adjustment and hit it WAY too soft.
win nonetheless, I mean it’s a quick game, like any sport, split second decision. Just found it odd.
