The best thing for Perricard today would be that Shelton showed up out of focus. He got it.

Shelton here is not playing at all like he has. First match he’s served under 70% his first serves. Unforced errors are up. He had 10 in that first set. He had 5 or 6 all match against Fils. Outside of playing Rublev, a top 10 for three sets, he’s been making 5-6 ufes a set. His body language too. He looks like a new kid at school wondering around looking for the guidance councillors office.

Perricard does look like he’s playing his best match today to boot.
