TANK ALERT! - Jarry

 

 

Jarry has won back-to-back ATP tournaments now playing challengers in his home country Chile.  Don't think he has any interest to play in this tournament, he might withdraw but I think he will make some extra cash here and tank in the first round.

 

Last year here, he was a 1.20 favourite in the 1st round, won 1st set 6-1 then lost the game.  

 

In total, he lost 3 matches last year as a 1.30 or lower favourite, and the year before 6 times (Included back to back loses as 1.05 and 1.13 favourite)

Zhang 1st set

 

Zhang had over 50 wins last year and reached a career-high 93 spot at 26 years old.

 

This year he has started 1-5 but actually won the 1st set in 5 of 6 matches! I think he will start strong here against Elias Ymer (Mikael's big brother, not as good as the young Ymer)
