I’m not getting involved in any conspiracy theories, I’m not for the US so I don’t know enough about the attack to say something about it. but I’m sure there is lot of people on this forum that got affected by the attack somehow, so I just think it’s unnecessary to bring it up in the first place in a tennis forum.
there is plenty of proof that there is a lot of mafia in east Europe countries that threaten people close to sport stars to make them fix matches for them. Nothing new, that’s why most of these Eastern European stars move away from their county when they get big.

I don't understand the odds, Rublev and Karatev is 6-0 and only lost 1 set, it was the same when they won Doha they were underdogs in every match except the final.
I don't rate Shapovalov and Bopanna very high, they were underdogs in the first two rounds and now in the 3rd round, there are favourites?
Bopanna is now 41 and has only played 34 matches of tennis in 2021, only 13 wins.
It's the David Cups finals next month, and I see Russia as one of the favourites to win, and Karatsev and Rublev could be a big part of that. So I'm sure they take the doubles very seriously as they want to get as many games together before David Cups.

Kontaveit did expose them, winning 9 straight games just to show how bad Haddad really is, but people still think Pliskova did her very best to try to win that match.
