It is pretty normal for bookmakers to close prematch market a minute or two before it starts - so they can change it to “in-play” with higher limits etc.
but it can also be everything from “too much action on one side” to “having a bad/slow live feed on a match”
- the real question is probably why would you wait to bet at last minute ? The closing prematch line in a GS is pretty much spot on perfect - and I can almost promise you can’t beat that long term
It is probably one of the things you can’t really answer unless you have been on the backend of DK operation
