I'm so torn on this match. I'm a Roger fan and want to believe he can win with the Djokovic has been playing, but he absolutely destroyed Nishikori as I thought yesterday.

I think with Roger, it's mental and he can't get over the hump. He had so many opportunities at the U.S. Open and couldn't get it to happen.

I'm rooting for Roger and you man!

How did he absolutely destroy Nishi?  Both had a ton of UE's, but Nishi didn't look there mentally at all.  Joker's game hasn't been on point for a few rounds IMO, and if he continues to spray errors Roger will get him.

I'm not even gonna bother. If you think Nishi wasn't mentally there sure.... What do you think he wanted to lose? Djokovic is going to be the GOAT, this is coming from a Roger fan...

Roger will not beat Djokovic, but goodluck if you take it.

Would not say fed has no shot....

Line tells u fed has a shot...

Fed is the best front runner in the game and it is crucial he win the first set to have a shot at winning this matxh.

Joker is very vulnerable so far this tourney and this is the time....fed has never had a losing record to joker so let's hope he stays one up

How is Djokovic going to be the GOAT? He's turning 29 in May and only has 10 grand slams. Federer has won 17 slams, been in 27. 17-10. Novak is 10-8 in GS finals. Not a great record by any means.

Fed has 13 GS records and most of them won't be touched by Novak. The guy made 10 straight GS finals which is unheard of. Djokovic is at 4 right now coming off his best season. Don't think he's going to get 10 straight. Not to mention Federer is still playing at a ridiculously high level at age 34 which is basically unheard of. I don't expect Novak to be competing at that level at age 34 because Roger is the only one who's really been able to keep his level of play up into that age.

Federer is the GOAT male, just like Serena is the GOAT female. They've done it for over a decade, not just a hot streak for a year or two. And how can we proclaim Novak the GOAT when he hasn't even caught Rafa yet? Slow down.

Even though Djokovic has 1 more AO title than Fed, he's not even arguably better at even the AO yet than Fed.

Fed has made the AO semis or better 12 times, including 11 in a row.

Federer is the most consistent player of all-time by a pretty wide margin. It's just not the slam record.

Fed's semi streak in GS's will not be broken in our lifetime.

Federer got titles in a much softer tennis era than the current one. Getting titles is extremely difficult which is why Federer aint getting anymore, and no ITS NOT because hes not as good as in "prime" because elements of his game is actually better than it used to be, but its because the era is so tough. I think Djokovic is the best tennis player ive seen of all time and im a huge Federer fan as well.

Federer is the 2nd best player in the world right now at 34. Fed still handles Murray pretty much. Nobody in the top 10 has won a slam exacpt Stan and he's won the last 2 of 3 matchups in slams against Joker. Nadal has been done almost a full year now. I don't totally agree with you. Its pretty sad right now. Djoko should clean up. We'll see.

Fed played in a weaker era, but Djokers biggest threat is a 34 year old Fed lol. No one else right now (excluding Nadal) has been better than Fed, even now at 34. Nadal has been done for Djokers past 3 major wins. He only needed to get by , you guesssed it, Federer.

In 2005, when Fed was dominating, there were 8 Grand Slam winners in the top 10. Now, outside of the top 4 is a joke.

Federer is not #2 in the world right now. Heck, Murray is ahead of him atm. And Nadal have had monopoly on roland garros for so many years now, thats only starting to change now. And those that you consider "bad" today are much better than the tennis players 10 years ago, sorry to tell you. Raonic for instance would win many titles in that era, just a serve thats as good as his would get you very very far in a washed up era.

But dont get me wrong, Federer is a living legend and hes had a sick career. But when i look back on everything and everythings said and done and by looking at players, then i certainly feel that Novak Djokovic is the best and most talented tennis player.

Btw i was on Federer today with the heart and with the odds and because Djokovic seemed a little off, but today he shows what quality player he is, and Federer doesnt know how to play him.

Wawrinka is the best player in the world against Djokovic because he plays him 100% right and hes pretty much taken 2 titles out of his hand by playing the way hes playing. A guy like Wawrinka would absolutely demolish and crush everything 10 years ago. He takes balls early and applies alot of pressure on the ball against Djokovic, something ive never seen any other player do before, he plays with so much margin, so much power, so much force, hes got such a big serve, he doesnt crumble in long rallies even tho this is Djokos #1 thing, his 1 handed back hand is the best ive ever seen and so on and so forth.

Federer plays Djokovic wrong, hes supposed to approach the game in a similar way Wawrinka does it, but his mentality to the game has changed too much so he cant adapt to it it seems like. Hes supposed to take balls early and apply some sort of pressure when he can, you cant trade shots with Djokovic like that. Instead Federer hugs the baseline way too much and its sort of become the pattern in these modern days that u cant go forward to the net because you get punished for playing aggressive when players play with that much force. So this tennis era has certainly changed the way Federer approaches the game.

Dude you should watch some Federer match from the past and watch how consistent his baseline game was. 10 years later I think you will remember this Djokovic era much weaker than u think it now. BTW Murray hasnt won a SET against Roger in their last 5 matches and his the nr2.

Should i watch Federers patch matches? I think ive watched more Federer matches than you can ever imagine. Federer was good all over the court, but he hugs the baseline MUCH more than he used to do, maybe YOU should watch some Federer matches before teaching me about whats up and whats down here.

And now that you feel like bringing "facts" to the table, maybe you should have them straight and crosscheck them before bringing them up. Murray won in their last meeting, so what are you talking about? And Federer only won in straight sets for 4 games in a row, not 5 as you claimed.
