here is the thing with ankle sprains,,,,  if you are a right handed swinger of sporting tool,  your regular swing (forehand in this case) is sometimes better, it forces you to get your weight forward for more powerful swings,,,, conversly when you have to plant off your back foot (in this case backhands) your screwed. 

Azarenka should just pound her backhand IMO
