Wired vs. Bluetooth/WiFi

Getting house renovated right now. Presently, it's down to the studs and I'm getting the place wired for sound. 

My contractor and his sound guy say wired is the most quality and reliable option. Clearly, that's more labor, materials and mark-up than simply mounting bluetooth or wireless speakers.

Welcome opinions from others. Am I getting good advice from my contractor? 

Yes Wired is more reliable in terms of speed, security and is less expensive.
