can anyone tell me what the differences and benefits are between using ado.net framework and linq to sql (linq to ado.net framework)? I researched what others respond to this topic, but people seems pretty split....I'm trying to learn ado.net framework, but I'm hesitant because other people online explains how linq to sql (or linq to entity framework) is more beneficiary. If anyone can give me some advice, I much appreciate it.
