Problem with Office

I recently had to re-install office 2007 due my computer freaking out on me. After i re-installed it, whenever i open up an office program this configuration process box pops up and it takes 5 mins to finish. I looked at the microsoft website and tried their suggestions but they did not work. Anybody have any ideas? Thanks

Try un-installing, reboot and then re-install again.

How are you opening the program?

Try opening Word or Excel using a different shortcut that is located somewhere else on your PC. (i.e. if you are jumping into word off your desktop, try to go to Program Files and Office from there, and use that shortcut [which is the same, just in the actual folder])
