Microsoft Office 2007 programs not opening after installation

I just installed Microsoft Office 2007 home and student Vista.

When I go open Word, Excel and PP. 

I get a message that says

Microsoft Office Word has not been installed for the current user. Please run setup to install the application.

I tried everything re installing it, repairing it. 

What the hell do I do to fix this.

Are you an administrator on your machine ?  What OS are you using ?

Yes I am an administrator and am using Vista.

I tried to get to this on there forums but couldn't find it.

I am going to trouble shoot it.

You may have to get your hands dirty in the registry.  But hopefully not.  I will dig a bit more where I know the OS now. But I'm pretty sure it will have something do to with Admin rights.

They had a link in Lipps post above for the Fix it on Microsoft's site, did you try that?

Lippsman it worked. It wasn't a dirty registy.

This is the quickest way it was fixed below so if you have any problems. I know you don't need my help at all lol......

1) Go to the directory: %PROGRAMDATA%\Microsoft\Office\Data
2) Delete all files in the directory.
3) Run any office application.
This only works on Vista and 7

If you have to delete cause I should have posted it, sorry and delete it.

Maybe I wasn't using it right last night but it sent me on a wild goose chase...

I saw that delete the data folder in that same link Lipps posted as one of the suggestions.  So if that worked, then cool.
