Netflix has announced they are going strictly Blu-Ray.

I received an E-Mail from them today confirming this.

It is huge, altough they could aways change thier minds later on. I think it's only a matter of time now before HD withers away.

Netflix said they will continue to make HD-DVD's available until the end of summer, but that they are not adding any more to their collection. They said by the fall they will not have any HD-DVD's in their collection.

It seems this is the end, or very close to it for HD-DVD. They're definitely on life support

May be a good time to pick up some HD movies for dirt at the end of the summer. Netflix should start selling them off

Agreed. Kind of pissed I got the HD-DVD add on for the 360. But overall I'm glad b/c I like Blu-Ray more. I've always been a Sony type of guy
