IPad Apps??

Anyone have any suggestions of what applications are worth downloading?  Good games, sports apps, anything else worthwhile?  Thanks

woop-what was that app you were talking about where you can post from your iphone/ipad---  thanks

  i like sportacular app

timdogs... apparently you can write in "notebook" and then copy and paste it into covers and it works.  Hopefully they come out with an easier way in the near future... as it is really time consuming if you want to comment on other threads/posts.

Sports games i like are Fifa11 and NHL 2K11. The game i like the most is Modern Combat 2.  Have to make sure you jailbreak your ipad so you get all your apps and games for free. Nothing beats old school NES, Super Nintendo, Sega Genisis and N64 on your ipad.

if you didn't do the software upgrade then it is possible to jailbreak it and get the paid apps for free

Manram gave me the low down

Awesome stuff, now I just have to find some applications that are actually worthwhile.

Woop mobile theatre in cydia. Movies and TV shows any time any where . Bittorrent and btjunkie.com also work wonders but they are programs for your computer that have to be put on your ipad via copy trans control center. Copy trans control center is the itunes for the jailbroken ipads. There you can sync all of your non apple/illegal stuff.

Best cydia apps:

Installous (The app store but everything is free)

Winter board (Full customization of your ipod/ipad. Thousands of different themes, screen savers, backrounds and tons more in cydia)

SBSettings (Provides you with an instant access to settings that disable and enable services like Wi-Fi and GPS. Also can adjust your brightness and a few other things.)

dTunes

Intelliscreen (IntelliScreen brings your calendar, e-mail, news, sports, weather and text messages to the “Slide to Unlock” Screen. )

Infinifolders ( It allows Jailbroken iOS 4 folders to go on forever, Infinifolders bypass Apple’s limitations of 12 apps in a single iOS 4 folder and allow you to put inside a folder as many apps as you want.)

MxTube (It is iPhone first native YouTube Video downloader for watching offline later.)

Cydelete (You need this to be able to delete cydia apps)

ROMS (Old Nintendo, Super Nintendo, Sega Genesis and N64 all at your hands)

doenst it come with 4.2 installed?? either way i wouldn't buy one...no flash..there is now an andorid tablet out that uses a processor adobe and the processor manufacturer created to specifcaly run flash flawlessly, its in a smart phone as well...

When I first got the IPad I would have rated it a C... with the programs ManRam informed me about... easily an A-.  Lots of awesome stuff you can do with the IPad when apple isn't gouging your ridiculous prices for every little thing.

wow, sounds like i could do a lot with this ipad - but unfortunately i have the latest OS (4.2.1) in it now .

Thanks for all the info ManRam24
