I wonder if you guys/gals are aware that this year's All-Star game

for MLB will be the first sports broadcast in 3-D!  At least that's what a teacher told me at school!

IDK if this has happened before but my local movie theatre is showing the National Championship in 3D on Monday.

and if you consider golf a sport the Masters were in 3D

Humm, interesting. 3-D here we go!  Did you watch?  How did it look?  Didn't know the TV were even out there yet.

Actually, those broadcasts, while in 3-D were sort of test fodder.  A full 6-camera 3-D crew hasn't materialized yet as they sort out the angles that work from the ones that don't, and work out the technical difficulties.  But it looks like the complete system will debut in MLB before the break.
