Corrupt backup in iTunes?

Question

Has anyone ever ran into this? I plugged my phone up, waited for it to sync and it never happened. I looked around and found that you can delete the backups under Edit/Preferences/Devices. I deleted the previous backup, went to start the sync and a message popped up "You have a corrupt backup, delete it and try again"

There's nothing left to delete and it still says it's corrupt. I've even deleted all the apps I've downloaded since the screw up and nothing has helped. Any suggestions are appreciated

I have had all sorts of problems using my iphone and ipod with itunes lately (which is not a surprise).  I haven&#x27;t had your specific problem but my iphone/ipod will not sync at all.  Now itunes won&#x27;t even open. What a crappy program nothing but problems all the time.

you should have uninstalled-reinstalled itunes first...since you deleted your shit you may have to do a fresh restore... yes, itunes sux, in fact its the worst piece of software I can think of (there a cpl alternatives, however, i invested way to much time into itunes LONG learning curve to switch), but it does have its advantages...
