Can I Transfer My I tunes songs to another ipod????

I'm want to put some songs on my itunes onto another ipod, but I can't figure this shit out. If I sync some of my songs from my playlist, it'll wipe out all the songs on the other ipod?

 

This is ridiculous, what, I have to own two different computers with two different Ipods? I don't get it. help would be appreciated

From what I know it's how it is.

 

Seems like you could create another username on the other computer.  Install the Pod software and sync the songs there.  When after you do the syncing you could just copy the songs from the new username to the old username.

 

Maybe something to try.

I have 6 ipods in my family, one for each member, and all I can say is ITUNES BLOWS.  Can't tell you how many times one of our ipods gets wiped out or overwritten by someone elses for no apparent reason.

 

We have now resorted to sharing a common login / itunes list as only way it seems to semi work.  Can't tell you how wonderful my "Barney's greatest hits" selections are when then get into the mix...

 

Course I made matters worse by thinking that once you pay for something from ITunes store that you could download it again if something happened to it...wrong.  It will tell you, you purchased it but it you delete it you are SOL.

That's why I love the Microsoft Zunes.  It's sooooo easy to move songs.  Just drag and drop.  Plus the wireless built in is very nice.
