What you are wanting to accomplish COULD be a positive event, but it is dragging on and on and on.

The idea of discussing trends, strategies, game information would better be served in this forum versus pro hoops since the scale of what you are discussing is quite large and the thread could be large in size.

Please post all threads and topics in this area going forward.

This is not a disciplinarian decision, it is not a negative decision, rather it suits the needs of what you are wanting to accomplish better and you will have a devoted area to discuss with less bashing and less confusion.

Let it be known right here and now. If you mention ANY kind of email gathering, or secondary site or means of communication to those who you have discussed this with, I will immediately with NO hesitation box or ban your account.

We have seen this several times in the past and as long as you RESPECT the site and our rules, you are more than welcome to develop this idea. I hope this works for you.

My idea is to simply form a group of devoted handicappers and handicap NBA basketball games.  Their is no system or strategies involved.  This idea has brought forth nothing but positivity....you mention that it is dragging on and on and on but yet the idea was formed 2 days ago and so far we have accomplished a list of members and also a list of variables that we will be using to handicap games.  So in fact their has been things accomplished.  I guess what im saying is that without your help this idea will never work.  Their has been this individual boiler room that seems to have disrupted this idea a bit but with your help we will get rid of these distractions.  You and me both know that by placing these threads here the traffic will go down drastically and this idea will lose its momentum.  I have no resource to direct people to come here.  All the traffic is thru the pro hoops forum.  I am no tout and I have no wishes of taking people to a secondary site.  I need to trust me that I have the best interest of this site at hand and by looking at my first thread we have had close to 5000 views without any negativity.

Good thread.This can and will work. People who bash will be boxed or banned, this kind of stuff is what we need to see more on the site.&#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;Remember my friend this is your quote on my first thread, I need your help I&#x27;m out for the best interest of the people.  I believe truly as a team we will beat the bookies.  I would not be spending countless hours in the last 2 days if I didnt believe in this.  I own 3 businesses here in Newport Beach, California and I am devoting more time to this than my buisinesses.

The idea and application is too big.Discussing games to the scale you are talking is better served in this area of the site.Look at some of the other topics in this area, strong sound discussion here with little hassle or bashing. It is exactly what you are looking for.If you want to direct people to this portion of the site, put it in your Covers Space profile, but please do not do anything which abuses the Manifesto or the spirit of the site.Trust me when I say I have seen this attempted MANY times and the results are not going to be what you are wanting. It is better to keep your efforts on a smaller scale with people who are WILLING to come to this portion of the site to discuss games and be devoted to your cause.This isnt about responses or page views, or at least it should not be.I see no reason to allow this in the Hoops area, this location will suit you fine.

Once we get everything in order and start actually handicapping the games things will be black and white...I know their is some confusion right now but this is because we haven&#x27;t developed the structure of the idea.  Once we have our structure in effect, we will have different threads which will have different groups working dilligently on their tasks at hand and then we come up with our picks.

So then what I will do is to make friends request with everyone that has requested to be a member of the team and then let them know that all discussions will be taking place here to avoid distraction from unwanted people.

Click on the My Space link on the top left of the screen, you can customize things there and it is a good way of communicating to those who you wish.

You can post a notice in the pro hoops area, but if I find it to be unacceptable it will be edited or moved.

This is going to HELP the cause, you might not believe it right now, but trust me when I say this area is better suited for what you want to accomplish.

Yo man wallstreetcappers is right, you don&#x27;t want an army of guys who don&#x27;t know what theyre doing.....a little bit less who are more devoted who know whats goin on. Quality over quantity. This is a better area for us to focus on. That way your threads wont get lost in the pro hoops forum. Here, everything you got will be on the first page.
