i do not know where this topic belongs but i just need help with how understand when someone is says they are betting (1 Unit) and so on

A unit is the amount of money you would typically use for a bet. For instance if you normally bet $10 on each bet, then $10 is one unit. If you make a $20 bet then you would be betting 2 units. Someone else may bet $100 for every bet, so for them a unit would be $100.
