win early on the angels, pushed on the carolina game, i did not upgrade to (2 units) on the patriots...

sorry k, i took a nap, overslept and didnt even raise my patriot wager...
but to answer your question, it was still a very strong play with the backup goalie in there.... i did account for that.... it actually fell between a (2-3) unit play, i went a little more agressive and played 3 units on it...
season just started, things should get better.... plays will get stronger as we move along

that is the record for Part 1 of this thread... i think i learned more last night in 2 of the losses than i have in anything that ive experienced in my 2 months at covers..
Caps go up 2-0 in the 1st period, only to lose to the devils in a shootout 3-2.... if i could have bet, when the score was 2-0 caps, i would have lost my entire bankroll... no way they should have lost that game.... i had 2 units on them but actually liked them much much more...
what did i learn? there is going to be no way that i can use my program and make a good side income betting heavy favorites.
i have posted 30 plays in this thread, i am still slightly ahead but i am going to take the next 30 plays (at least) and play only my Top Rated Dog selections...
im still going to use this thread, ill be back later with plays for tuesday oct 13

that is all for tuesday oct 13.... all plays will carry a minimum of a (50%) success rate or better as run by my program. some projections that i ran last night, while thinking about this..
135 plays per month
47.5% winners
+1.325 average payback on winners
this would show a profit of just over (+14 units) monthly, which would work out very nice...
i want to see how close i can get to these figures, starting tonight.
